Domino’s Pizza

So we all know what time it is. It’s pizza time! Next in line is Domino’s. Domino’s is one of those big chains that I eat only once every several years. I’ve got three or four Little Casaer’s Cardboard Supplies over by me, and two Hungry Howie’s Overpriced Cardboard Supplies. I’ve got one Jet’s. I’ve got Ny Ny and Guidos in close proximity in the Grand Blanc area. I’ve got Rocky’s Pizza, and Benitos and there’s even one in town called Sweet Basil which is apparently really good. I’ve heard of places like Lorenzo’s and Pizza Mia and I could spend the rest of my life trying different pizza, and I probably will.
So, how does Domino’s measure up? Well, none too good if we’re talking about Guido’s and Ny Ny and Jet’s.
It’s funny, when it comes to many of these big chains, I would find that there was one thing good about the pizza. Pizza Hut had a better ham topping, Howie’s had the best crust, and Domino’s has the best sauce and an OK crust and an OK topping. Little Caesar’s meanwhile, is the best at feeding a large group of people you don’t particularly like, on a budget.
Overall, of the Unholy Trinity, consisting of Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Little Cardboard, I think Domino’s is arguably the best, at the same rather low price. A large pizza is under ten bucks. Great.
But again if you are next to a place like Jet’s or Ny Ny, there’s really no reason to go to Domino’s for pizza.
On the other hand their specialty chicken is quite good. I got the Sweet BBQ, which I’m going to assume is Sweet Baby Ray’s. It really just sauce and toppings on boneless chicken, but if it tastes good (and it does) then who cares?

Better than it used to be!
They make a pretty good take-​out pizza. Good prices, decent specials and they deliver to a pretty wide area of town, unlike most takeout pizza places in the city. They never screw up my order, unlike places like Papa Johns. The prices are good and delivery is fairly reliable.
Fresh toppings, a good crust and tasty sauce all combine to make a pretty good «fast food» pizza. The veggie pizza (our usual order) is pretty solid, loaded with toppings, real cheese and served piping hot every time.

my hats off to this place as they are the only place i could find whod deliver to Clairmont Street in Flint. The food is pretty good and their delivery staff gets to my house quickly. ive never had a problem with the food. And mind you this is not my favorite puzza, just the only one that delivers to my place. More orders are up and coming in the months ahead
Shame on Pizza Hut, Jimmy Johns for not delivering to my little corner of the world.
