It was lunchtime and they were slammed for both dine-in and takeout. She was still quick and courteous. This time I wanted something simple, and ordered 3 soft chicken tacos. Seriously so good. I added jalapenos and guac. Also used their spicy salsa. Delicious. Cant wait to go back.

Really good, really cheap authentic Mexican food. If you want something gourmet you’re in the wrong place. But if you want a satisfying, local, inexpensive lunch without the«after effects» of Taco Bell… this is your lunch stop

Great authentic Tex-Mex food. Not the most comfortable place to dine and the location is shady at times, but the food and prices make it ALL worthwhile. The beef/chicken tacos, wet/dry burritos, tostadas, menudo, caldo(hit or miss), barbacoa, chorizo, is some of the best in town… and their enchiladas ARE the best in town. Frequent diners come here for the excellent food, not because they’re looking for world class service.

If you want to know how the food is I can’t tell you. The sign out front says they close at 9PM. I went in one night at 8:20 and was planning on getting take out. The lady behind the counter promptly told me in very nasty terms that they closed at 9 and that I didn’t have time to get any food. It was 40 minutes before they closed! I told her all I wanted was take out. She then told me I could get take out if I wanted. With an attitude like that I didn’t want any part of the place. I told her I’d go someplace else. I haven’t been back even though it’s just around the corner. This lady obviously doesn’t like business.
