The quality of the food has gone downhill over the last few years. The chances of getting a quality steak is hit and miss. If you like the blooming onion, ask to have it made into blooming petals. Less grease and done in the center. I recently tried the pork porterhouse and it was wonderful. Service was a little slow, but if you get one who’s been there awhile; asked for Katie… Demitrius…Rhonda…and Amber are great! I wished the servers would smile a little more or look like they like their jobs somewhat.

Food is decent, service spotty and even though there isn’t many people here we had to wait to be seated and wait to get any attention from our waiter. Prices are high, and for this price would expect better staffing. Management has issues with staffing and it reflects poorly on their business. Waiting for food today.

My youngest wanted to go for his Birthday. The place wasn’t overly crowded but it still took over 15 minutes to get a seat. Another 10 minutes to get our drinks and another 10 to get our onion thing. The onion was dripping in oil and was tasteless. The rest of the food was nothing special and took what seemed like hours to get out. My Medium rare steak was cooked to about medium well. My sons medium was almost burnt.
A very not so happy birthday dinner for him.
We will not be going back.

I love the Bloomin Onion, the hot wings, salmon, the yummy house bread, and salads. This is a «can’t go wrong restaurant» in my opinion. I love it. I usually eat here often when I’m out at the GVC shopping and need more than a bite to eat. The meals are hearty and filling. As far as chain restaurants go, this is one of my top five favorites. The food is always consistent and that’s what I want. Unfortunately, I dinged them a star because of the excessive long waits. That’s getting old. They should get better organized, especially around dinner and lunch rushes. They know it’s coming, so really there is no excuse.

Very dissatisfied service was slow waitress was good
Blooming Onion was really greasy
After long wait steak dinners came out cold so sent back hoping they would have came back hot and maybe the steak would have ended up more done than wanted but didn’t happen they just heated up the cold sweet potato and the steak still cold and raw in the center…
Sad to say will not be back other guests complained of long wait before us should have thought twice before deciding to stay.
Manager gave is the drinks and blooming onion for free but never came to table to apologize would have been the better gesture.

The best steak in the Flint area by far. I love the Prime Rib– It is always cooked to perfection and the steamed veggies are the perfect al dente crispness that I love.
The service is always top-​notch and the management always makes sure we are well taken care of. And don’t forget to grab a slice of carrot cake or a mini milkshake. So good!

The food was good but the service was horrible! Took us over an hour to get our food but then only half of us were served. It took another full 20 minutes for the rest of the food. They never took the dirty appetizer dishes and my first cup of coffee I had to send back because the cup was dirty. Also no spoon and had to ask for cream and sugar. No straws. Very frustrating dinner. If I’m going to take my family out for a 100 dinner I would like to have been able to enjoy it.
Oh, also asked to see a manager… never came.

Worst service ever. Server got mad when I said the soup didn’t taste right and told me not to order something spicy. Soup wasn’t even spicy. Fries were ice cold. Took 8 minutes to get change for our food at lunch time. Never mind those that have to go back to work. Filthy with dust on TVs and in booths. Bathroom smelled horrible and all toilets were not flushed.

Outback use to be my favorite place to go. Was always amazing food, the last 3X we went they have completely messed up our dinner. Have a family of 3 and they just can’t get all 3 meals right, service has completely gone down the tubes from where it once was. Such a bummer

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times and the food is good most of the time. If you go later the food tends to be cold and looks and tastes old. My steak is almost always overlooked and the mashed potatoes are dry. For what you’re paying for I would expect better. We’ve given it a few tries but probably won’t be back.

Being generous with 2 stars. Broccoli was undercooked, steak was super bland, out of crab legs, asparagus was undercooked, ran out of avocados for the crab stack appetizer (at 4pm on a friday?), the tiniest portion ever for my daughters steak medallions… no way i’ll ever be back to this location.

Had a very nice lunch with my lovely wife. Food quality was excellent the service was extremely prompt and courteous. We also utilized a 15% coupon which took the price of our lunch for two down below $ 15. We will give lunch time a try again at this particular location anyway.

This Outback is my «go to» when I want meal in the Genesee Vally area.
Outback pushes their Bloomin Onion but my favorite appetizer is the Hot Wings. It’s a little known secret that these wings are EXCELLENT! I just hate that they went up in price, although it hasn’t stopped me from ordering them on every visit
The food here is consistently pleasing along with the service. Don’t expect a great steak but you will get a good one.
I always get good food and service at this location.

My wife, a couple of our kids and I had dinner with her parents and two of her aunts yesterday. The experience was just ok and if it had not been for a very sweet waitress it would have been pretty disappointing. I always say that a smiling, patient, and kind waiter/​waitress can make up for numerous restaurant failures and this experience was an example of that. The food arrived late and in two waves so half of our table had to start eating while the other half waited otherwise their food was going to get cold.
I had the Aged Cheddar Burger and it was, again, just ok, nothing spectacular. I also ordered the side salad for $ 3.99 and I was not impressed with the portion size. They should not have charged more than $ 1.99 for that tiny thing.
Anyway, the waitress was very friendly which to me is important and without that this rating would be 1 star and much more of a rant.
There wasn’t enough here to make me want to come back.

Pros: cold beer and warm service. My steak, although of average quality was cooked to perfection.
Cons: had to ask for silverware and my wife ordered her steak blackened which it wasn’t. The Caesar salad dressing was overpowering. I think I will be tasting it for a week
Overall: an upscale Ponderosa at three times the price.

I have always said Outback is an ok place — because at least you always know what you are going to get. However, the last time I went was horrible. We split a plate of wings for an appetizer — usually delicious. But they were sitting in a plate full of grease and fryer sludge. The fact that the plate got the ok to leave the kitchen was astonishing.
Thankfully the area is getting more locally owned dinner options, save your money and give those places a try.

Went in for lunch and my steak was well done and it was really dry. The mashed potatoes had a funny taste too and a little watery.
I won’t go back there. I will go to Logan’s Roadhouse much better quality and bang for your buck.
