I have updated this review from last time, because the hotel is now gone. Demolition is nearly complete and the hotel eyesore has been wiped off the earth. Before the hotel’s closing in 2006, this landmark used to be a signature Ramada hotel with a restaurant and a conference center. It also had a swimming pool and a fitness center, which were both destroyed in a 2005 fire. The hotel was«killed» by a 2006 fire that caused $ 250K in damage and forced the owners to shut the doors. Now, you can relax knowing the shell of the former destination is gone.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Flint, MI
I’ve always been known to be the one who doesn’t usually throw parties, but when I do – they are all out memorable. I threw a party here once in one of their conference centers when I was 17, I kid you not. I know that sounds incredibly boring, but it was actually a lot of fun. It kind of reminds me of «Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret», when Margaret goes to the fancy party that the nerd throws. Except I wasn’t a nerd and nobody threw ketchup on the ceiling. There was a buffet and a dance floor, and round tables, and a bunch of high school kids dressed up but with a spare set of clothing because we blasted my stereo and danced like whut — this was Flint, after all — we all knew how to dance. It’s what I miss the most about my friends from back then. We knew how to have a good time. The Ramada Inn staff were very nice and accomodating. They even let us take some food home even though I think they weren’t supposed to let us. The facility itself is not that fancy — but what was the most memorable about this place besides the party is that there was no agism.
