I do like Repocast and you can get some good deals once in awhile. I live an hour away from their location and one time I drove there to pick up an item I won and they lost it. They gave me a $ 25 gift card which was fine but that certainly did not cover the cost of gas to get there and back and the time I wasted. Also, their buyer premium is outrageous! Not to mention that their website always crashes and you can’t even get on to bid on anything. Location? Lets just say I take protection with me when I go to pick up items as it is in the hood of Flint.

is an online auction of various repossessed and/​or liquidated stock items. They have regular auctions hosted at their Flint location, as well as Byron Center location, every Thursday and then ad hoc auctions periodically as well. Many of these have hundreds if not thousands of items and can suck you in for hours browsing all the items.
It’s a really great idea. If you’ve ever been to one of these types of auctions live, you know the hassles that go with them. Being able to do it online removes much of that hassle. It’s like online garage sale-​ing. Think of it like eBay, but you can just drive across town and pick it up on a safe location, without having to pay for shipping.
There are standard fees for using the service that depend on the cost of the things you buy, so make sure to read that carefully. Also, if you buy a vehicle, make sure to read the descriptions carefully. The vast majority of the items are used and a variety of different conditions. It’s on you to do your due diligence on each item. You can go see them at their location if you choose, so there should be no surprises if you’re careful and pay attention. But this is no different than eBay (except you can actually see most if not all of the items if you choose) or Craigslist (without the extra «personal risk», if you know what I mean). Don’t let the Flint location scare you.

Discovered this auction site on the recommendation of a friend. They auction hundreds of items per week. They have something for everyone, and finding the cool, funky treasures is a fun quest.
We usually comb through the upcoming auction, saving interesting items to a watch list. Some items go for cheap, other items go for above retail value. So know the value of your items going in.
The staff is efficient and super friendly. You go in, pay for your items, and one of the attendants gathers the items for you.
We’ve bought some cool, interesting stuff, including a 1960’s lounge sign, bar stools and an old card catalog.

First, let me start off by saying to always save your receipt!
The reason being is I was double charged. I paid cash at the warehouse and picked up my order. Seven days later I was charged the total + 13% premium + $ 4 storage (even though I picked up and paid for the item with cash). Of course, I tossed the receipt because I have never had a problem with Repocast. By tossing the receipt I am unable to get my money back from the credit card company. So, hold on to your receipt in case a situation like this comes up.
I did give Repocast 2 stars though, just because their selection is great… Just wish they had a better billing system to eliminate mistakes such as these. I am just glad this was only a $ 40 order and not more expensive!

Compared to other auction houses in Michigan, Repocast is far more organized, clean, and user-​friendly. The registration process and online bidding is simple. The staff at the Flint, MI location are always friendly, from the customer service persons at the payment and title counter, to the delivery persons who bring your items out to your vehicle. I had a problem with a faulty bid a few weeks ago, and the Account Executive who I met at the office took care of it virtually immediately. Questions on auction items are normally answered quickly, and the facility itself is very well-​organized, well-​lit and clean. Overall, one of the best customer focused businesses I’ve found in my 12 years in the Flint, MI area!
