I came here last week on business and had absolutely no idea what to expect. The lighting was a little low and there were more people at the bar than sitting at tables. This made me a little nervous on what to expect for their food. There was a live band setting up also, so I figured it probably should have been a little busier than it was. Maybe 15 to 20 people in there. I ordered the Reuben to go with fries and a drink. It was about 10 minutes to get my food, so I was sure it was made pretty fresh. I took it back to the hotel to eat. About 15 – 20 minutes went by before I started to eat it. This was literally the best Reuben I have ever had, and they are my favorite sandwich. The meat was spread out evenly over the whole sandwich, which was a first for me. The meat was still piping hot and the bread was not soggy, even after that long. Hats off to this establishment, I will most certainly be back, next time to sit down and eat.

Stopped in here because it was late and it was close to my hotel. Interesting place with 2 bars, pool tables, and a wannabe singer that was off-key. House-made pizza was surprisingly good! Female bartenders and wait staff were friendly and efficient. There was a middle-aged man wearing a ball cap that was behind the bar drinking and talking way too loud and using a lot profanity, so I took my pizza back to the hotel. Prices were good.

Our waitress was nice, but the place could have used a good cleaning. I would have preferred regular mayo. I’m not a Miracle Whip fan. Otherwise the burger wasn’t bad. The fries were really good… Heinz ketchup would have made them awesome.

Hey, this is a good little neighborhood bar. One of our regular stops. Service is friendly and efficient; food is tasty, well above average pub grub with the occasional pleasant surprise. Pot stickers, for example. 7⁄8 as good and ½ the price as the fancy place on Grand Blanc Road. Music is good. Lots of talented groups have gotten a start here. And the bikers coexist comfortably with us geriatric cases. Two thumbs up!

Well, let me clarify that I just moved to Genesee County and this bar is not really my scene but I had a good time attending a birthday party. The waitress was most accommodating. She attended to all of our needs and was on top of all of our orders. The clientele are mostly bikers and those gals that probably shop at the Buckle and get their hair done by the same stylist-they all looked the same. The DJ played everything we requested and there was much people watching had by all. I was front and center of the dance floor and that was a treat in itself. Would I come back… eh, maybe.

If anyone from Scooter’s actually reads this please let this be a learning experience. I was in over the weekend with a friend. We ordered Chicken Nachos, a HALF order. Our food arrives in about 20 minutes and we were brought a half order of BEEF nachos. The REASON we were told: «We don’t do a HALF order of the CHICKEN nachos» First, it doesn’t say that on the menu. This reason is actually ridiculous! Let me ask you an honest question. Can you PHYSICALLY make a HALF order of nachos with CHICKEN? Well, yes… you CAN. But you DIDN’T. Why in the heck didn’t they come to us and say, «Oh sorry but we only do the chicken nachos as a full order. Would you like that or would still like the half order with either beef or plain? Or perhaps something else from the menu?» Why ASSUME that beef was all right? What if we don’t eat beef? What if we don’t like beef? How hard is it to make a half order of CHICKENNACHOS? If you can PHYSICALLY make something then why wouldn’t you?

Another successful visit. Wife and I both had the Chef salad. Should have split one order. Large and good! Service was great, beer was cold.
