An excellent source of locally produced fruits and vegetables. The girl that runs this stand really knows her stuff, she’s very informative.
The focus is on a natural, more wholesome products. The produce is locally grown and contains no pesticides, etc. If you’re into organic produce and locally grown greenhouses/farms, then this place is for you. She even sells organic and «natural» skincare & beauty products now. There’s more to the Local Grocer than just greens.
It’s located in the Flint Farmer’s Market and open during market business hours (three days a week, Tues, Thurs, Sat). Not the cheapest prices, but it’s worth it.
