The restaurant has permanently closed after 10 years in business. I was bummed. I have to make this review reasonably long so it will be accepted.

I am a breakfast junkie. We were in Flint for a graduation and our hotel was right behind this place. I was very concerned when we went into the place at around 9am both days and it was deserted. Lots of empty tables. soon discovered that while people ate there, most of business was take out and deli meats. There isn’t a lot to be said about a sublime breakfast except that the eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were awesome and the turkey sausage(I had the spicy patties) were out of this world!!! OMG… the turkey sausage was to die for! In retrospect, I should have gotten 10 lbs to take home. My son had the turkey bacon and ended up ordering a 2nd helping. I have to take his word for it that it was great cause he didn’t share. The spice mixture was phenomenal. I was in heaven and if I am in Flint again I hope these guys are around. Only complaint was the coffee was very weak but I am a Starbucks bold guy so not too many cafes/diners get it right.

Coffee was good. Eggs are hard to mess up. The hash browns were VERY good! I had two eggs, turkey bacon, hash browns and wheat toast. Everything was nice and hot when it was served and was very tasty. Nothing fancy, but a nice diner feel. Very comfortable and casual. Very convenient location to the local hotels. If you want traditional bacon, ham or sausage though, be warned… It’s a turkey place… Read the name. ;-) Overall a very solid breakfast.

This place is all turkey all the time. About the only thing that wasn’t turkey on the menu was fish and chips. The turkey chili was really good and the turkey Reuben was good. Service was decent. If you like turkey, this is the place for you.

Great place! We’ve done«Thanksgiving in a box» here for years. You get an entire turkey with all the trimmings for a really good price. I really love eating here.

What a great place to eat. The service is great and so is the food. So many items to choose from and all turkey based!

This place is great. They have fantastic breakfast choices at great prices. The turkey burger is a solid choice along with the chili. I haven’t had a bad item yet. My daughter loves the pot pie.

Ordered a turkey sandwich and it is like one my Aunt makes. Not chef style but def homemade. Everything was ok but not outstanding. I would def come back again. Try the carrot cake some of the best I have ever had.

Terrible service! I asked for a recommendation since I have never been there before, and the girl at the counter replied that she doesn’t eat their food and therefore couldn’t recommend anything personally. You would think that owners or managers would train employees to sell their food. I ordered the sub and soup/chili or salad combo, and the waitress was clueless that the chili was an option with the combo. I do have to say the chili was amazing, it was very flavorful. The sandwich was ok, nothing I’ll ever crave. All in all, I was shocked at the lack of efficiency and knowledge of the employees.

On October 14th we set an alert to order a Thanksgiving Day dinner for, the day orders opened up. We called and there was a lot of confusion on the Turkey Farm end about how to take down an order for Tday. A manager was finally put on the phone so we could place the order. Finally an order was placed. Fast forward to two days before Thanksgiving. Low and behold our order was so messed up they said we «forgot» to pick up our order two days before the date we requested. To put an end to the long story, they left us out in the cold and didn’t even try to accommodate us. Yes we could get our Thanksgiving day meal the day before but being the first one to call and place an order this was unacceptable. We never even got an apology. They basically said oh well. They made the mistake and didn’t even try to fix it. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism portrayed by this company. I am now off to the store to try to find all the fixings for a super last minute Thanksgiving day meal, one I didn’t plan on making. It’s a time of thanks, so thank you Turkey Farm for ruining our Thanksgiving because you can’t properly take an order.

Bird on the Bone!!! The food is so good everything is fresh and hot made to order from the oven. The best Turkey Dinner place in MI and I’m from CA and never will see this in a 1000 Miles from Los Angeles. Damm Shame for the West Coast but this is the place to be especially for Flint in MI. Fresh Hot Turkey made right and seriously reasonable for the menu and the Hot Pot Pies. If your in Flint Go!

I was so excited to visit this place to discover everything on the menu is either deep fried, processed and equivalent to fast food. Not a place for the healthy conscious eater, it’s like processed turkey nitrate heaven… even the salad dressings are loaded with carcinogens. No I would not recommend this place for the natural healthy eating consumers. Gobble gobble somewhere.

Hot turkey sandwich w/mashed potatoes and gravy; half order is all you need for $ 7.59 or turkey Reuben $ 7.29 and Buffalo Hoagie are all extremely great choices at this place. I don’t care for the green bean casserole or the mashed n gravy due to no seasoning except with the turkey sandwich which isn’t complete without it. Also the turkey bacon is great to take home and make BLTs with.

This place is amazing. My wife and I try to stay away from greasy foods whenever possible. The alternatives are ground turkey, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, etc. I can honestly say that Thompson Creek’s version of these popular but unhealthy foods has made me into a convert. I won’t be buying pork sausage(link or patty) anymore. We’ve had their sandwiches as well – to die for.

We had the turkey dinners with four(!) side dishes. The turkey(we both opted for mixed light and dark meat) was moist and flavorful. Between us we tried the stuffing(very good), the mac and cheese(so-so), green bean casserole(pretty good), the sweet potatoes(yummy!), mashed potatoes(house-made seemingly and very good) and squash(not sure what kind of squash it was but it was pretty good). You get a fairly small portion of each side, but that was great and each meal was 11.99. We also tried a piece of blueberry pie, which was pretty good. My main impression of this place is that the food is pretty good – but not great food. The next time we go, we’ll probably try the turkey chili or potpie or sandwiches because we weren’t as enthusiastic about this place as other reviewers, who had sandwiches, have been. It’s not a restaurant I’d drive out of my way for, but if I’m in the neighborhood again, I’d probably stop in.

Five Stars is not enough! I like turkey and I never seem to get enough. So last time I was in this neighborhood I didn’t know they were right next to the hotel until we drove past it on the way to the airport. This trip I made sure to have time to eat here. OK… Let’s start off. First I read the reviews and the lower starred ones made me laugh. I did not encounter any blue hairs. If they were there, they were completely hidden by all of the fat people. This brings me to another topic… If you go into a place and it is full of fat people, then you know you have chosen the correct diner to eat at. I appologize… They are not fat, they are Americans. Well I grabbed a nice, cozy romantic table for one and promptly I met Jessica. She is awesome! She single handedly made all of my turkey hopes and dreams come true. She is sweeter than the icing on the carrot cake… Yes! I made room for dessert. I tried my best to sample as much as I could. I saw reviews telling you to get the sanwiches… I got the dinner. The turkey was great the sides were all delicious. My salad was enormous and the turkey noodle soup was out of this world… Well as good as my Mom’s was. I will be back… They can count on that. I want to try the Turkey BLT. I didn’t see a potpie on the menu, maybe I need to study it longer. The Turkey Nacho’s is on my next order, as well.

The Big Bad Bob Turkey sandwich is a great sandwich. I have a big appetite and the pile of meat on this awesome bun fills me up with style and taste. I eat here a couple times a month and always receive great service and enjoy the food.

This is awkward. I hate being the only yellow star in the bunch– it makes me feel like maybe my head is not screwed on straight or something. We visit this part of Flint once a month for business, and every time we drive by this restaurant I become more and more intrigued. Oehhhh, they are a «Turkey Place» lets give them a try! Let it be known that turkey is my favorite winged protein! So, on a cold wintery night I was finally able to pursuade Erin into going to My Turkey Place. I was so excited I even dubbed it mine, I tend to do this when I expect a stellar meal. Just so I can then remind every friend and relative I take out to dinner how it really was«my discovery» and how plain awesome I am! Props where props are due, I say. Anyways, there is one thing that immediately stood out when we walked thru the door. The Blues! Blues are the cutesie old folk that I hold dear to my heart, the ones whos hair is so white it is nearly blue! Hmm. Must be senior citizen night, we thought. After looking over the menu several times, as you might understand– a whole restaurant dedicated to my bird of choice can be overwhelming, we were intrigued by the turkey ribs. So we ordered one. Our waittress was super sweet and accomodating, when she was around. The rib was good, but in the meantime we figured that given the theme of the restaurant that nothing could be more fitting AND comforting than a Thanksgiving meal! Who doesnt love to carbload on a blistery Tuesday night?! Fast forward to the meal itself. The turkey was(I am sorry, TC fans!) … Dry! The mash was instant and the stuffing was of the bland croûton variant. The kind that so desperately wants to fit in and be infused with flavor, but that will for ever be shuffled around with a fork as opposed to actually consumed. The canned/jarred cranberry was actually the one part of the meal with the most flavor. Our waittress whom noticed the disappointment dripping off our faces, actually took the time to chat with us for a while and cleared a few questionmarks up. 1) Apparently every night is senior citizen night. Swanky. 2) The reason that the food is bland and blah, is due to their main clientele. Get this. They used to *season* their products, but then comments came rolling in regarding(I can only assume) indigestion, peppercorns getting stuck in dentures. Who knows. 3) She mentioned that the people under 50 bring the bland factor to their attention all the time. 4) We were also told that she felt bad we did not enjoy our meal, and urged us to try the potpie next time — many people seem to like it. We have not been back, as the thought of a(potential!!)Banquet potpie does not sound appealing. If I wanted to spend my hard earned money on instant food I will gladly shelf out the 50 cents at my local grocer, and consume it in my PJs watching my favorite show. Now when we drive by every month, we get a good laugh out of the«branching out» that this restaurant has done according to their outdoor sign. Okra? BBQ? Fried shrimp? Whatever. I am sorry. But if a turkey restaurant treats the most amazing meal on Earth as a redheaded stepchild, and insults it with 90% instant ingredients and 100% no seasoning. I can do nothing else but call it a major FAIL.
