Walgreens

After finding the items I wanted to purchase one being ibuprofen and the other being a slip for Sudafed that had to be purchased from the pharmacy I walk up to the pharmacy and after a couple of seconds a woman shows up to the register and says «Nope» with an attitude and shakes her head. The first thing this woman says to me is not a greeting or asking me how I was doing like any other person with decent customer service or manners would do. One would think that a place where most people go when they already don’t feel well would at the very least have decent customer service. Needless to say I will not be going back

If you’re not getting accosted by a weirdo in the parking lot or standing behind some random dude in the pharmacy who is trying to convince the pharmacy tech that his «prescription» for Oxycontin that’s scribbled in crayon on a post-​it is legit (that actually occurred), then this Walgreens is great!
I’ve been panhandled here before and always see some unique peeps when shopping at this Walgreens. It happens here more than anywhere else. It must be the neighborhood.
They sell beer and wine, but no hard liquor like Rite Aid. Maybe that will change. In any case, I find myself coming here frequently for various sundries. I don’t know why, maybe it’s just convenient for me. The store is big and usually busy, but for some unknown reason, there are never enough cashiers working. Lines tend to start wrapping around the store within minutes and I always wind up behind some dbag that wants a bunch of tobacco products behind the counter and demands to know why the stupid action figure he’s too old to buy didn’t ring up on sale. At least it’s not the pharmacy line. That’s an abomination.
It has a Red Box outside and supposedly this store houses a police mini station, but I’ve never seen them here. Open 24 hours, it’s there when you need some late night Pringles…

good place to shop bad place if need meds in less then hour and text they send out doesnt tell you what med u are getting.

Quick stop on the way into work to get a few things and seen a sign under the Squirt 3 for $ 10. Picked one up and headed for the door. Rang up at the normal price. After arguing with the clerk, that yes they are on sale and yes you have a sign stating that for some time, I gave up and left it on the counter. Rude unhelpful clerk. This location is the only 24hr drug store on this side of town, so I guess they don’t have to go the extra mile? Sighhhhh

Having a Walgreen’s six blocks from my house is excellent. They are 24 hours, yo.
You get some funky people in there after 10 p.m. so I usually try not to go late, but even when I do it’s cool. I was panhandled in the parking lot once in seven years of going there.
All the girls that work there are nice and sweet.
