What was once a Flora landmark for pizza with Bob Mislich is no more. Out of tradition when returning to Flora we always like going back for Pizza Pit. After last nights trek into Pizza Pit… NOMORE! It is literally the pits! Should have known from the start… as you walk in the front door, is it a pizza place or junk store? All types of debris littered the front door from boxed up Christmas decorations, junk, to stored pizza boxes on the floor. The restroom was flooded with leaking roof… no wet floor signs. No styrofoam cups or straws stocked for customers. As we sat waiting for our pizzas… the ceiling tiles were filthy with holes sagging, especially the one over the drink cup station. No ice in the soda machine, when inquired they removed the lid of the soda fountain them removed a ceiling tile to give room to dump an ice bucket in the top. How much ceiling stuff just fell into the ice bin of the soda fountain? Three pizzas ordered… One with mistakes with not all toppings as ordered, second pizza was ok, and taco pizza just plain sucked and came out over 20 minutes after the first two. This place could be a great pizza place again. Where is the management? Can’t you see the place just needs to be cleaned up? Get rid of the empty display cases. The empty coolers? If you can’t invest in making the dining room a better environment then close it and just be delivery as it is not welcoming. The three workers appeared to be mediocre and not really invested in whether the customer was treated good or whether the business was to make money. It’s all about people, processes and product.
