Such a cute place and the girl who’s there during the day is great! She makes greattttt coffee drinks and PROPERLY which is always a struggle to find in the area. Today she made me a caramel macchiato, which she mentioned she loved making and drinking. When I tasted it, you can tell she loved making them, it tasted AMAZING! there cold brew is also really good. She has earned a regular! Can’t wait to hit the bar in the back this summer!

What an unexpected jewel in floral park. Great cocktails and a bar food menu to match. Great place to unwind for a cocktail after work rite next to the train. A taste of Manhattan/Brooklyn trendy bar in an area dominated by the Irish pub. I thought when I moved to Nassau from the city I was also giving up on ever getting a quality cocktail again, well I was wrong. I just hope this place doesn’t get to popular as I won’t get a seat anymore.

Love this little coffee joint in Floral Park. Offer many different types of coffee with a variety of flavors. My husband and I can’t get enough!

I been visiting here since week 1. It is a bar that sticks out from all the bars in Floral Park. Made great friends with the staff, and fell in love with the beer menu. I’m not a big cocktail guy, but the cocktails I was introduced to always left me satisfied. The pb & j hot chocolate is absolutely delicious. It is also a major plus that Doug the bartender is a big Rangers fan.

Hidden jem! Speakeasy in floral park! Once you go through the phone booth you enter a dimly lit bar with wooden tables and leather chairs. The bar screams prohibition with the crates and wooden stools The bartender, hands down the best. Everything is mixed to perfection, and his recommendations were great! Food wise we only had appetizers. We ordered guacamole which was delicious, chips were nice and hot and guacamole was freshly made. Deviled eggs(just because we wanted to try it), different but also yum and fresh. Mac and cheese was super cheesy and good! Would def. Crowd was a bit older at first but as the night when on it got younger. Def recommend, great local spot!

While I really enjoyed the concept, food and drinks, this review is for the disappointing customer service. I was excited to give this place a try for a birthday that I have coming up, and wanted to bring a group of about 10 – 14 people on a Saturday in a few weeks. I let them know that I could guarantee that number and asked if we could have a corner table. Without even thinking about it, I was told no because that was their busiest time. I understand that, but I was guaranteeing a large group of paying customers. I was told it would be possible if I moved the time to accommodate a time that is convenient for them, which unfortunately I could not do. As I was having this conversation I remembered a similar story that was left in a review on their Facebook page, but that review has seemingly disappeared from the page. Good food and drinks, but the customer service leaves much to be desired.

I call this my Trump card whenever I want an escape from the usual crowded Long Island bars around Jericho Turnpike… This gem was founded recently by one of my friends. Now I usually go there if I want a low-key night with a couple of drinks… I have to say they have a much more mature crowd which results in a better atmosphere. I like the whole old-school bar atmosphere they got… In addition, the place is hidden away and stashed away by a Bagel/Coffee shop which is fantastic… Keeps the ambience and the aura up… I mean my opinion, I hope the spot doesn’t get too crowded for my own selfish needs. But damn highly recommend this unique spot.

A speakeasy. in Floral Park? You heard me right. Enter through the bakery(which I understand does serve food and coffee in the daytime) during the evening and you’re led to a dimly lit lounge area. The old-fashioned bar and stool setup help to give this place a prohibition era feel. Their black leather couches are quite comfortable, as well. They carry a respectable selection of craft beers and whiskey, and their cocktails are also quite good. I ordered a quesadilla, too, which was more thin and delectable rather than meaty — so it wasn’t very filling. But I think Cork and Kerry is a fresh addition to Tulip Ave, which practically has two Irish pubs on every block. And I think a little change is good for a neighborhood like this.

What a surprise in Floral Park… I Love this place. They have an amazing selection of top shelf scotch, whiskey etc. but that might be a waste given the expertise of the bartenders in making perfect mixed cocktails. I and the group I was with started with one of their specialty menu cocktails but soon realized that with a place like this letting the bartender create something special based on a few questions about what I like was the way to go. The quality of these drinks are comparable to similar high end bars in the city like Booker and Dax, Milk and Honey, and Pouring Ribbons with a much lower pricetag. The atmosphere is very cozy with a cool speakeasy vibe complete with entrance through the back wall of a phone booth in a coffee house. I was there on a Wednesday and the place was fairly full but not too crowded I expect on the weekend it’s different.

Love the coffee shop front and the cool bar in back. brick walls, low lights, nice atmosphere. Tried some delicious Scotch and Bourbons, the male bartender very informative. Will def be back to try more and to taste the interesting food options, which sound delicious. Nice little hidden place! glad we went. Only thing I would say is it took the main bartender about 10 mins to get us a drink as he was talking to other customers, maybe acknowledge us and say you will be right with us… but once he did speak to us he was super friendly and helpful. The woman bartender didn’t know much about the drinks, but she tried to sound friendly… Overall glad we went and I will be back. Love these types of places.

Went on a Saturday night around 9:30. It’s a fun idea to have the front as a small coffee shop and a small door which leads to the bar in the back. It was very busy at this time but 8 of us were able to squeeze through to the end of the bar and find some space to view the menu. Within 15 minutes we were able to get a table and our drinks shortly followed. The bartender Felipe(not sure of the spelling) was great. I really enjoyed seeing the prep of the drinks. We all enjoyed the drinks and thought they were fairly priced. We didn’t order any food but the food that was coming out of the kitchen smelled and looked great. The bar started to thin out but still remained busy through 11pm when we left. Great idea, great bartender. Will have to come back to try the coffee out front and the food in the back at a later time.

Great spot in Floral Park to relax. hidden away from the street which honestly is my favorite part about it, real speakeasy. I went on a Monday which only had the bartender running around like mad, leaving me waiting for about 20 minutes to be served… management should def staff the bar accordingly(it is the holiday season after all)

This is great new spot in Floral Park on tulip avenue. It is very inviting and has a great concept behind it. The first time I was at this establishment I was very hesitant but after the«secret» door opened, you are immediately brought back into the roaring 1920’s. The bar is very quaint but it also feels like you are in the middle of Soho. They make excellent drinks here and the bartenders are very friendly to their customers. I have yet to have any of their food but my friends raved about it. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone around!

Came on a Saturday night and enjoyed every minute. Genius idea of setting up a speakeasy in Floral Park. I love the fact that you can have a conversation and actually hear each other speak. Drinks were perfect and the bartender was awesome! Had most of the cocktails on the menu and enjoyed every one. Will definitely be going back to this hidden gem!

I did NOT want this bar to steal my heart for humpday drinks, but sometimes the bar chooses the lush. I would never have guessed that the 11001 would have a Barbara Lynch-esque ‘Drink’ bar on the Tulip drag. Plain and simple, if you want an experience in FP that doesn’t involve counting the gin blossoms on some old man’s nose in between Coors Light and Jäger, come to Cork and Kerry.(P.S. I grew up here, OK? I can say all of this cuz I lived it… Kthxbaii.) Let’s talk drinks. I don’t remember the exact names, but the first drink I had was probably called a «45 Rose,»(a.k.a. PINK Drank) tequila-based with a bunch of other fun stuff. The next drink was a clustercuddle of liquors. Gin based, with Cocchi Americano, Grand Marnier, Acidified Orange Juice, some wine and an Absinthe spritz, this is THE drink to get. Beers are standard FP prices, $ 6 for a Hoegaarden and that’s one of the cheaper ones. Finally, let’s talk staff, Doug is a craft cocktail ninja. He makes those drinks reeeeealll good. Yes, I know this place is a little more spendy than your average FP bar. Come on though, it’s totally worth it, especially since Dale DeGroff(a.k.a. King of Cocktails) was in tonight to give this place his heartfelt blessing. Ohh and I got a non-alcoholic coffee to go, so delicious. Tell two friends ’bout this place. You won’t regret.

My wife and I simply adore this surprising speak easy, bar and restaurant. Walk through the coffee shop — looks and smells great though I can’t comment on the faire — and walk through the secret door in the telephone booth and you are in! The staff is both engaging and knowledgeable. Which makes it a great place to relax and yet consume yourself in the vast array of professionally concocted cocktails whose construction are worthy of wise contemplation and vigorous consideration. Yeah, I know, big words. But once you spend time sampling the martinis, a pisco sour to rival the dozen or so I had at the Hotel Bolivar Peru, an amazingly constructed menu consisting of lobster mac and cheese, lobster roll, and fresh guacamole to me a few, you’ll feel like breaking out the thesaurus too :) Lastly, if whiskey is your thing then you’ll enjoy the selection. I only tried the sampler but in my younger days I’d have been in heaven. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The atmosphere is very comfortable and a place where you can hear yourself talk and enjoy your friends. I like to visit for happy hour on Friday and from 3 to 7 they have 2 for 1 draft specials and other cocktails as well. The Ballentine IPA7.2% is very good as are the Red hook/Long hammer IPA5.6% and the Long Island summer ale 5.0. There are 17 other taps as well as a variety of bottles. I’ll be sampling more soon!!! This is half a block from the LIRR. Very convenient.

This review is for«the roast» only. My review for«Cork and Kerry«will come at a later time. Move over Starbucks because there’s a new kid in town. The roast serves up some delicious coffee made by the locally sourced Stonestreet coffee company. Upon entering you are greeted with the sultry scent of the morning lifeblood itself, coffee. While it is quite cozy on the inside, The selection is quite remarkable. With six different coffees to choose from plus espresso and cappuccino, my favorite is the Brooklyn blend it is a combination of light and dark roast. The palate is mild with a very good flavor, not bitter at all. There is also a decent selection of bagels that are brought in fresh every day from A&S bagels. They also have A nice selection of homemade muffins, cake pops and snickers. This is definitely my new morning wake up station!

I’ve been dying for a proper coffee shop in Floral Park. I’m tired of deli coffee, or having to travel to Jericho or Franklin to get a cup from Starbucks. I’ve been here twice since they opened Monday and I love the look. It’s a small coffee bar up front, with room enough for one or two small two-seater tables(none yet). Most importantly, there is an espresso machine with beans roasted in Brooklyn! They also have an assortment of bagels and pastries, teas, beans for purchase, and bottled beverages. First day, I ordered a cappuccino and a croissant. A young woman working the machine knew how to make proper foam and it was delicious. She explained they opened at 5:30am and closed at 8pm or 9pm, with the speakeasy opening at 3:30pm. The croissant was sub-par, definitely not as flakey as it should be. Second day I was a bit disappointed. I convinced my husband to check it out with me, since I was so excited and had a great cappuccino the day before. A different, older woman was working up front. I ordered cappuccino and he ordered a macchiato. She had no training making either. I ended up with a latte topped with cinnamon and he had to explain what a macchiato was, then show her how to froth milk. At least it wasn’t burnt? I’m hoping to have a better experience this weekend, when I try for another cappuccino and check out the speakeasy style bar in the back. I’m rooting for this place to be fantastic, since it’s so desperately needed in this town!
