Acapulco

We ate at this restaurant for my daughter’s 16^th birthday. We had 5 adults and 3 children. The server was so rude! He wouldn’t make eye contact with any of us and if we asked him for something he wouldn’t acknowledge that we spoke. He wouldn’t even give us our check so we could pay and leave. We finally decided to go stand up by the register to get his attention. I will never go back to this place! The food was a little bit better than Taco Hell.

Basic Mexican dishes are not bad. But the chili relleno is nasty, stuffed with meat that reminded me of cat food. The California burrito is awesome. The margaritas are so-​so.

Nothing negative to say about this place. We went on a weeknight and it wasn’t very crowded when we got there, but eventually got packed. I wouldn’t say our server was extraordinarily friendly, but service was extremely prompt. We all commented on how quickly our food came out. I thought the chips and salsa were good. I ordered a mango margarita and chicken chimichanga. Both were pretty good. My friends split the chicken fajitas for two and it was a ridiculous amount of food for the price! This is definitely not a bad thing, if you enjoy taking leftovers home. Overall, a good experience.

We’ve been coming here for years… and plan to continue that. It’s, hands down, the best Mexican in NKY. I’ve never had anything that I didn’t enjoy, but my favorites are the Choriqueso, and the Texas fajitas. Their salsa is amazing!

Always good food and quick service.

This place is ridiculous. And I say that and every complementary way possible! Going to lunch one day with some coworkers we talk about how a margarita just sounded like something that would be refreshing that day. Not only does this place makes incredible margaritas, but beware! When we were asked what size we would want from small, medium, and large — we all looked at each other and decided that we didn’t want anything to excessive so we ordered a medium… sweet baby Jesus, this thing came out and was the size of a large cereal bowl filled with sweet heavenly margarita. We opted for the premium margarita which is still probably my favorite followed by the sangria margarita (The sangria margarita originally didn’t sound good to me until I tried it on a special and fell in love with it). I know what you’re thinking… The margaritas are great, but how was the food? The food is absolutely fantastic. The portions are generous, the price point is generous, and everything is full flavor. You may not walk in and be blown away by the Décor, but it would be rare that you would ever walk away disappointed. Delicious!

Delicious, perfectly made salsa with crunchy, warm salted chips. The food is always on point and it’s cheap. The employees are mediocre, which is why I subtracted a star. They don’t offer exceptional customer service. I prefer a happy smiling face when I go out to eat, not a stone-​faced, rushed person. Also I didn’t like that you pay at the cash register right by the entrance where there’s a lot of traffic, it gets too congested and you feel like your in the way while trying to wait to pay your bill. Overall I’d eat here over and over again because the food is great.

Great Service and food was yummy. The place is rather large and has a lot of seating space, so we had no wait. I got the the Chori-​Pollo, which is a combination of chorizo sausage and chicken. It was a little greasy but it taste very good. Their salsa is on point, not to hot not to mild and comes to your table as soon as you go in. My only complaint is the amount of time it took to pay for our meal, we have to go to the front counter and there was a line that took about 10 minutes to get to our turn since only 1 person was at the register and it kept getting interrupted with phone calls or other servers.

Delicious food! Never had a bad meal! Their service is excellent. Try the fajitas or the enchiladas… delicious! The chicken burrito a la carte is my favorite small meal. Salsa is fresh and the queso is not runny. Fine Mexican food!

I got food poisoning hours after eating here. I am reading previous reviews and am shocked that people think this place serves good mexican food! It was «ok» at best. The guacamole was disgusting, like pureed baby food. I spent all evening sick as can be after eating here. Never again… there’s so many better choices out there!

The margarita’s are tasty, but they need to downsize their menu. I’ve been there and have gotten great service and I’ve gotten bad service. They are always packed Friday and Saturday evenings.

We went there last night as el rio on Houston is not serving alcohol right now (!?). The place was crowded. Ten minute wait so we sat at the bar. Chips are standard. Cold. Not salt. I’ve had lots better. The salsa is good. The margaritas are premixed and very strange unnatural colors. It’s ok. The fajitas are very large. We ordered steak but got a mixture. It’s a typical Mexican place. Tab was reasonable. Nothing to write home about. We won’t go again.

Good food. Many unique options! Almost too many to choose from. Busy Friday night so lag in delivery but hot and good flavor.

Good tamales! And the prices are good. Good service too! Awesome margaritas, my favorite is the mango.

I was VERY worried about the mass people coming up to check in and I was so worried the wait would be forever!!! But for a Friday night and the «long» line there was no wait! Very pleased with the place. The looks of it the staff and of course the food! All of it. Set happy as well return for sure. For this being my first time here I give it give stars

Fajitas were the best we have ever had and we have had our fair share. Nice atmosphere and very comfortable booths.

Omg I’m from the west coast and I was scared of not being able to fine an authentic Mexican restaurant in Kentucky. I found this place! It is fantastic authentic Mexican food. They have 60 ounce margaritas! We have been back 5+ times in the last month. Its our new spot! The prices and food are unbeatable
