Love this place. Organic fresh produce at a reasonable price. Whole foods and trader joes comes in a close second on price and product.

Aldi is a nice place to go for inexpensive groceries. They keep things cheap by having a smaller selection, not providing things like bags and charging a small deposit to use a cart.(You get it back when you return the cart.) Their prices tend to be less than other grocery stores but for the most part I still shop in Sam’s for a lot of produce because they’re often cheaper. However, if you don’t want produce in bulk and you don’t want to pay for the membership to Sam’s, Aldi is a good alternative.

I miss Aldi so much since moving from Florence. My parents still shop there and love it, I get a little jealous when I hear them talking about it. This is definitely the place in town to go for fruits and vegetables and other staple items. The produce prices are super cheap and the food is always good– but if you get something that isn’t, just take it back and they’ll give you your money back or replace it. The store is also very clean and very environmentally conscious– so bring your own bags or you have to pay for the bags. Also, don’t forget a quarter to rent the cart, you get the quarter back when you’re done. I’ve heard people complain about this or act like it was weird, but when you think about it, it makes sense– it keeps the workers from having to stop what they’re doing to bring in carts, so they’re able to do their jobs inside the store and keep the checkouts running. I always loved buying bagged spinach, big bunches of bananas, the canned pumpkin(in the fall), and baking items from Aldi. Try it out, you’ll like it too!

This place is A-ok! Its in between the bowling alley and sonic. A smaller sized market so the selection is not huge but they carry your basics from cereals to frozen food to produce to cleaning supplies. I go here for cheap produce. They usually have pineapple for 99 cents and your basic vegetables and fruits. The fruits and vegetables are the best prices in town. Come with your own bags because they don’t give them out or you can purchase plastic or paper bags for a few cents. Also bring a quarter if you are going to need a cart because they don’t offer free carts either. The grocery prices are well worth it and i come by here when i’m on this side of town.
