My husband and I wanted to try out this restaurant for our anniversary. The initial greeting was great and the décor was nice and appropriate. The kitchen is open but thankfully the noise wasn’t too much to handle. Our waitress was VERY enthusiastic which could be overwhelming for some people. The menu is very small and consists of mostly pizza options. The menu items were also odd and not what I would necessarily deem traditional«Italian» cuisine.(pumpkin ravioli or cream sauce on lasagna?) There were also very few, maybe 2 vegetarian options and zero gluten free items. My husband ordered a bottled beer and it was served in a regular glass that didn’t even appear to be 8ounces. This beer was also $ 5. Pizza being the primary food item, we ordered a meat pizza to share. The positive is that the service was quick. Negative was the pizza was very burnt, though still somewhat edible. There was a ridiculous amount of Parmesan cheese that masked almost every other flavor. It was not a $ 16 pizza. We optioned to keep it and received a free desert on the house which was a Cannoli. Though it was tasted alright, it was clearly not made in house and could not be considered authentic. With only 4 desserts on such a small menu and high pricing, I would expect them to be made in house. The quality of the food does not match the price of the food. I will probably not be visiting again.

This is Five-Star restaurant for Florence, yet a Three-Star restaurant overall(Four-Star average). Rebel Pie(Italian-style pizza) and Stefano’s(Italian food) are significantly better. Like Victor’s across the street, an experienced foodie will realize the décor is more impressive than the food. Both are good date/special occasion spots with ok food. Unlike Victors, Fiasco is more reasonably priced. We will return for special nights… but remain loyal to Stafano’s and Rebel Pie for significantly better food.
