My wife and I was in Florence Saturday afternoon and went to the Florence Dinner for lunch. It’s a small and dated place but it’s a cool little place. Our waitress was very nice and very good. My wife had a cheese burger and I had the buffalo chicken sandwich/​onion rings. The food is great, the hamburger buns are fantastic. The batter on the onion rings so good !!! Nice job and yes I would recommend this cool little place

Since we moved to the area we frequent this place a lot! Mostly for breakfast — waitress on Sat and Sun AM is awesome. they will pretty much make anything you want as long as they have the ingredients in the back. We aren’t meat eaters but they are always super willing to whip us up an awesome vegetable croissant sandwich that is delicious! They could TOTALLY increase their prices a bit and still be busy. And the pancakes?! Don’t even get me started…

Came to have breakfast was here at 9:30 and the place has a close sign posted, don’t know what’s going on or anything else but it’s very inconvenient to travel out this far and find the place is closed! It was supposed to open up at nine! I guess you need to call ahead to see if they are open or not!

BEST PANCAKES EVER. I love pancakes and this place has the absolute best. It’s nice and big and VERY inexpensive. One delicious large sized pancake for a dollar? Can’t beat that! I love this place. It’s a small diner with home cooked meals. The servers are friendly and so are the customers. Breakfast is incredibly cheap. Haven’t been in yet for lunch and dinner but I will update my review then.

Little place with big flavor, large portions & great service! Good chicken fried steak and home cut fries, with gravy, very tasty.

They say cops and law enforcement always know the best places to eat since their always on the road. And I always see em returning to the Florence diner so you know it must be good. And I agree with em!

I have never Unilocaled a restaurant before, but WOW! What a nice surprise. The Florence Diner, Florence, TX has great food, Great atmosphere. The owner is very conscious about food allergies and special requirements. I had a great steak today, which was the special. Now… I have paid over $ 45 for just a steak at some high end steak restaurants. The steak at the Florence Diner was one of the best Ribeyes I have ever had! I was even looking at the sandwiches being service at the next table and wishing I had room for more! I will go back. Do not hesitate to drop by and say hello to the owner, meet her kids, enjoy the atmosphere at the gem of a diner. I would be surprised if anyone was disappointed at the family restaurant.

Nice little place to stop in when passing through the small town of Florence. The prices are cheap, food aplenty, and service is really courteous. The portions are huge (as evidenced by the Turkey Croissant picture). Saw someone else recommend the fried pickles, and since I love fried pickles I decided to try them. They were delicious! Crispy, not soggy at all! Will eat here again if I stop in town.

Really nice small town diner, all food is freshly made staff is awesome and really friendly a definite must if ever passing through
