They have good discounted prices, and the first order, although slow, was easy enough, but then to access the web site to reorder was a maze, and then you’re not sure if the order went through. Only after calling was i told that 1 prescription needed to be renewed, and that other items were not in stock for a few days. Why don’t they send an email to let you know items out of stock, and that a prescription needs renewing. Then they sent a fax to my Dr. for prescription, but got no reply, and didn’t tell me, so I’m waiting 10 days. Just called, and got an apology. Asked to speak to a supervisor, I guess there is only one because she was busy. Easier to just cancel and take all my prescriptions elsewhere. Terrible company. 19^th century company trying to compete in the 21^st century.

Do not bother with this business. for real. they are absolutely slow as molasses and their customer service skills are poor and their communication skills are even worse. If I could rate them a ZERO I would. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or the pharmacist, they (Shawna) refused to do it. Real class operation.

Be careful. They are not delivering a timely service any more. They used to be wonderful. Don’t know what has gone wrong.

Only because my insurance company’s approved mail-​order pharmacy said my muscle relaxer was not on «the formulary», did I start searching for another source. I was lucky as heck to have discovered HW.
So here’s the skinny… if you do take pills, other than OTC (over the counter) supplements, have no insurance, or what you need is not «covered» under whatever medical or Rx plans you have, and you’re facing paying high «out of pocket»… you might want to check out

We have not had to pay out of pocket on our meds for the last couple years. It was just this last week that I asked my primary care physician’s office if they could, based on my lower back history, prescribe my «go-​to» muscle relaxer; flexoril or the generic, cyclobenzaprine. Come to find out, what used to be a $ 4-​$ 5 co-​pay item for 30 tabs, regardless of branded or generic, was now going to cost me $ 133 because it was no longer in my formulary. I ordered the very same item through
, but 90 tabs (3x the amount I normally get), for $ 6!!! No kidding.
You do need a prescription from a doctor. And even if you have insurance for Rx’s, you may be surprised to see prices here that are «lower than your current co-​pay!!!» I know… doesn’t make sense, right? But they’re legit, and somehow they can sell at these very low prices. From where I’m looking… I haven’t detected any tricks, smoke or mirrors. It appears to be «the real deal.»
How long??? I created an account online last Thursday, called my doctor on Friday asking that they fax my prescription to HW, and today, Monday, they’ve already filled and are shipping my order. It will probably arrive via USPS no later than Friday.
Sharing this information with your friends, and family could be a life-​saver for someone burdened with high prescription bills. I can’t guarantee they’re way low on any other items. But this first order, and input from others, tells me they must be doing something right.
I’ve read a few negative reviews here on Unilocal,and while I respect other’s opinions, wonder if those with issues may have been requesting «out of stock» items, or maybe their prescriptions needed «tweaking?» That’s happened to me with other «new» pharmacies. Once remedied, those delivery issues disappeared. I don’t know… but what I do know is that I saved over $ 100, and cut my cost per pill from $ 4.43 per tablet to $ 0.06 each. Crazy, right???

During their business hours, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to talk to someone, and never had to do a call for more than 20 minutes.
Their prices are MORE than reasonable, and for medications you use every year, it will save you money and time to order online.

Wow. Waste of time. I have had the same prescription for 7 years it is written monthly but because my insurance doesn’t pay for it in the state of Florida I am able to get as many months at a time as I wish. I love this flexibility I would just stop by and pick up whatever I needed whenever I wished.

rules/​laws even when you are paying out of pocket you will not be able to obtain a refill until you are 66% through what you have already gotten. This means you could really never go on out of town for long because you will never have enough medicine on hand unless your doctor is willing to change it around for you all the time. Not helpful to anyone who travels a lot. Even with a 3 month supply if you were going to go out of town before you were 66% through your 3 months and stay longer than the additional 34% of the time you would have a problem.

came up the same price as Walmart and I liked the idea of having meds shipped to me with the added bonus of not having to go to Walmart to get the same price that Target used to have.
I could have the prescription changed to more at a time and always get that larger amount but then I would still lose flexibility and have to deal with getting it changed. I got my prescription on a Friday, mailed it in on Saturday and on Wed was told this news. So 5 days later my prescription has not been mailed and to get what I am accustomed to in Florida I have to initiate a transfer from
to a local pharmacy anyway. They are not allowed to send your prescription back to you if it doesn’t work out.
I have edited this review to reflect additional conversations with the company. I am now certain they understand my issue they are just unable to be of use in my situation. Their hands are tied by the law but I prefer the laws here in FL. I wish they I had been advised in advance of this difference.

Process not as smooth as they say. 1^st order cancelled after 45 days of going back and forth between doctors office and HW. 2^nd prescription faxed today from the doctors office, so let’s see.

1 star: they got bumped up merely by my experience with Optumrx. Good God that place is awful.
2 additional stars for experience after finally receiving prescription. These stars should be shared by my Dr and his Staff but they already have 5 Stars.
It still was a giant hassle getting started. A huge one, but my prescription is nearly $ 1,000 cheaper here… a month. That’s singular across the board. 1 drug, $ 1,000 saved monthly.

If you want it fast this is NOT the place. 2 weeks and still don’t have it. There is a new invention called the telephone, if a detail on RX is wrong can’t they call? OH and BTW if your doctor prescribes «Use as directed» They don’t except that. Be nice to tell someone. I have other prescriptions that say that, never been a problem. For an ear drop that we should be able to buy over the counter to boot. I just called, they don’t care. Waiting to be reviewed, still not shipped. Not my first call to them. Never again.

After reading some of the reviews I was expecting horrible service but after Duane Reade wanted $ 81.99 for a 30-​day day supply of generic propecia I was willing to try anything!
Heathwarehouse wanted only $ 22-​odd for the same 30-​day pill bottle and claimed they could get the prescription from my pharmacy without me needing to lift a finger after checkout. And it worked!!! The script verification process took about 5 days including the weekend followed by another 5 days for shipping. Next time I’ll order a larger bulk quantity and in advance of needing it.

HealthWarehouse received a phenomenal Consumer Report review late last year. The Consumer Report stated :”

This place is great, nearby pharmacys wanted $ 145.00 for the same rx i just paid $ 36 for. Plus free shipping.

I have ordered my dog’s medicine 3 times now and it has taken 3 weeks, 10 days, and now 3 weeks again to get the shipment. The prices are good but they are slow. The first time their excuse was a shipping problem and this time they said they had to renew their license to ship to California. Ten days ago they said they’d overnight the pills to me and I still haven’t gotten them!

I am very unhappy with this place. Don’t order anything here. I order on Sept. 3 and and they send the product on Sept. 11. This is ridiculous !. On Sept 5 I ordered another 8 product. I wanted to give some gifts to my friends — and I just found out on Sept 12 that my initial product was just left their place on Sept 11 and the second order never got deliver and was deleted. Horrible management and business. I did place orders in China and come faster that from this place. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

You get what you pay for.
The low prices here represent a false economy. Their customer service is as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Be prepared to contact them several times to report the same issue if you have problems with delivery or with prescriptions not being received. They will ignore your emails and never admit fault or apologize!

I have been filling prescriptions with HealthWarehouse for years for fairly simple reasons. Their prices are very competitive, particularly on generics. I have always found customer service to be super-​efficient and friendly, and an actual human being may call you up to let you know that a prescription is about to expire. (Unlike the robo-​calls I get from CVS.) I find this helpful, as it allows me to refill without going to the doctor again.
Doctors sometimes look at me oddly when I tell them that I want my prescription sent to a pharmacy based in Florence, KY rather than to a local or chain pharmacy, but I think it’s been worth it. The only downside is that they don’t seem to accept health insurance drug plans. If you want insurance reimbursement, it seems that you have to submit the claims yourself. Since several of my drugs are not covered anyway, it’s not a huge problem for me but it can be an issue. Perhaps one day they will fix that, but meanwhile, it’s a great online pharmacy.
