HoneyBaked Ham

I’m surprised by the reviews this HoneyBaked Ham has received. I can understand the long lines leading to Christmas Day but it’s like that in any HoneyBaked Ham you go to during the holidays. I’ve been to ones in OH, PA and NJ around the holidays and are always packed. I have nothing but positive things to say about this location. The staff are smiling and try their best to show their friendly faces despite the holiday slam. We always buy our holiday hams from them and we’ve always been happy with their hams and the other food «stuff» they sell. We are fans and plan to keep coming back.

I picked up my ham on the 23^rd of December. I had called early because I had a tight schedule and was led to believe it would be a quick in and out. This was a very inaccurate. In line for over an hour to get to door; this led to a kings island snake type line. The nice ladies next to me remarked they had way more registers last year. In turn slowing everything to a crawl. It looked like they didn’t have a lot of hams in back being placed in glass shelves behind counter. When I asked for a 6lb boneless ham, they said they didn’t have one and they tried to get me a 5 lb, which was ok at 4.7 lb. The ham was really good. I think I should really add a star because of it, but the line actually took away from the experience.

Good product but waiting in line for over an hour is not the way to start the day. Last year much better thru put. They had separate sales and register staff. Line moved much faster. Very disappointed in the experience

We use Honey Baked Ham for many of our catered lunches here in Florence. They do boxed lunches or platters depending on the size of your group. I’ve never been to the store myself so this review is on their catering only.
Their service has been better recently. In the past we have ordered sandwich platters and when they delivered they didnt supply any bread or other things we ordered. Recently they’ve done a better job of bringing everything ordered.
This time we ordered the sandwich platter. The bread provided is simple kostermans loaves like you can buy at the store. The assorted meats are thick cut (roast beef, turkey, ham, and honeybaked deliciousness). The cheese selection is also very good and fresh. They provide lettuce, tomatoes and garlic pickles which are amazing! Their cookies are soft and delicious (peanut-​butter, oatmeal and chocolate chip.) We also got plates and the fixings you need to eat everything. For sides they have cold baked beans (which I have never understood) that have pieces of honeybaked ham in them… awesome once I’ve warmed them up. I also really appreciate their broccoli salad.
The food is good and they deliver during business hours and its not pizza so I’m pretty happy overall.
