Hooters

This is my second opportunity I have given Hooters in Florence, and this is the second time. In which we waited an hour for over an hour food. When they finally brought the food it was wrong. So we gave it 2 chances. There were 18 people in a restaurant that seats over 50. Then we found a toothpick in our food. OMG Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you. Skip hooters and go somewhere else, unless you are coming to hooters for another reason, then still skip it.

Now, for my service… usually at all Hooters I have been to, is slow and makes me want to leave, but not this time!
Rachel G, she gets 5 stars!!! She was perfect. Exactly what a hooter’s girl should be, bubbly, beautiful, attentive, knowledge, and fun to talk to. oh, and fun to look at! I mean it is hooter’s after all. She also recommended some places to go to while I am in Cincinnati. That is always helpful. Also, she recommended my meal which was the fried shrimp with chipotle honey sauce and original wings with garlic parmigiano sauce. It was delicious and savory. Hopefully next time the atmosphere will be better.
I love hooter’s orignal breaded wings. This is why I come here. The atmosphere is usually nice with bubbly girls. This is also why I come. However, this location was not so good last Saturday night. It was an extremely slow night, and it looked like the staff was the only people here. After a long day at work I wanted some good fried chicken, beer, and an upbeat atmosphere. Unfortunately, the manager was a weird guy walking around making weird impersonations out of boredom. The music that was playing must have been a celine dion marathon. It it was followed by a playlist that sounded perfect for a sad emotional girl that recently got dumped. The ambiance was horrible.

My first time ever stepping into a Hooters I wasn’t sure what to expect. I went on a night when there was a UFC fight on so they were packed. We waited to get seated which took about 15 minutes. The hostess was friendly but not very organized. Once we got seated our waitress did a great job and was very friendly and professional. The beer was cold and delicious. We got a generous portion of nachos and they were very tasty. One thing I did not like, was the waitresses were forced to «cover up» their tattoos and it did not look good! You can clearly see their tattoos under the makeup and it makes it even more obvious and distracting. Overall it was a pretty positive experience.

Horrible slow slow slow service. When we complained to the manager she said the kitchen staff was inexperienced. She then said she would check on the food and disappeared. When we had enough and got up to walk out our waitress told us the food was «right up» and would be out right away. Guess what, that too was a lie. She brought out one plate and we had to wait for the rest.
To «compensate for this horrible service» the manager comped us $ 3.55 on a $ 50.00 bill. Not enough to even buy a beer. How insulting.
We should have known to drive somewhere else when two police cars were parked at the front door.
The food was good. If I were a waitress at this place I would quit.

I have been to many Hooters restaurants before, and they have all been good, quality food. But, this particular location has some of the worst service I have ever seen. Our waitress was completely incompetent… In fact, that may be kind. We were told to seat ourselves, then asked to move by the manager so they could seat a larger party there. To his credit he did offer to comp our appetizer, but it was never actually taken off our bill. I had to bring it up to our waitress, and she gave me an attitude about it, as though I was bothering her. We waited 15m after we asked for our bill, she passed by our table 3 or 4 times, as we waited patiently, I finally stood up and acted like I was getting ready to leave… that got her attention real quick. Never so glad to leave a restaurant!

I eat here for lunch often and I am never disappointed by food quality and service. Keep up the good work! Management and gals are always sweet and friendly.

I love Hooters! The service is good, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is great! Say what you want about other places, but I’m a firm believer that Hooters has better wings than B-​Dubs. Actually, a LOT better!
We always get breaded bone-​in wings, which are GREAT, the 911 and hot, to me, being the best wing sauces. The Tex-​Mex nachos are also a must! There are a lot of places that have loaded nachos, but Hooters could very well have the best I’ve had!
What really makes this Hooters great though is that it’s a place for me to spend quality time with my dad. We laugh, he drinks — I don’t… We eat great food. It’s just the perfect place to spend quality time with my dad — and there’s something really special about that!

Cold beer. Great service. The food was the worst I’ve ever eaten at a Hooters. The clam chowder was rancid. I had to spit it out. Everything fried tasted like the grease was very old or had been scorched. Thank goodness we had sliders or we would have been forced to go eat some where else after we left. It’s a shame when a good place has such poor quality control.

At least five girls on the clock with an empty room (no customers) and it still took ten minuets for the waitress to come over and ask what I wanted to drink. I wasn’t given a menu either. Got «the perfect patron Rita» it wasn’t worth the money (9.75) for maybe a 8oz glass of mostly mixture than patron. Took 25 minuets after I ordered for me to get my food which was just a hamburger and fries. If you don’t care about the quality of the food or the service and just want to look at the girls than this is the place to go…

Of all the Hooters that I have been to, this is the best. This place stays clean and the girls in the front greet you when you walk in. I come come to Hooters for the wings and the chicken sandwiches, oh and can’t forget the fried pickles!
Anywho, My waitress from every time I go there is very nice. I like it how they write their names on the napkin so I can remember their names. The food is good and the sauces were pretty hot. I get the 911 and had a pretty good kick. The curly fries with cheese is awesome. I get that all the time.

They had all you can eat boneless last night and the pieces I received were extremely small ! Not that big of a deal. Our server was nice, but slow to get our drinks filled when needed more beer & water. The place lacked the «attitude «that all good Hooters usually have ! This two average visits for me in a row at different Hooters ??? Upper management changing their philosophy on guest service ??

This is hooters and this is Kentucky, so I will preface this by saying my expectations are not that of a 5 star establishment. Tonight my husband and I swung in for a bite to eat and we noticed 2 waitresses (ours included) were sitting at the table across from us quite a bit, where 2 men, who had been drinking quite a bit, were posted up. Towards the end of the meal one of the men tells one of the waitresses ‘well if you want cocaine, you’re in the right place, because there’s cocaine everywhere’. Needless to say we spoke with the manager, paid our bill, left and immediately phoned the police. I hope the health department as well as police lock this nasty trash into a battle for their livelihood. If you are in the mood for wings, quaker is just up the road behind the mall and buffalo wild wings in directly in front just behind the bank, unless drugs are your thing.

I had to give this place 5 stars as I couldn’t find a fault…
We were greeted as soon as we walked in– we had driven to other places looking for a place to watch the UK basketball game, but couldn’t even find parking! I’ve been to other Hooter’s locations throughout the US & I have to say the ladies here have got their act together! We still have 6 minutes left in the first half and already have our food and second round of drinks.
Being in the restaurant & bar industry I’m even more impressed with the output from the kitchen, management presence on the floor, & the way not one staff member is standing still.
This is a place that has a grasp on how to provide prompt, friendly service in a high volume time.
Kudos to our server Ashley! Next time we are in the area we will be back!

What to even say about this exact Hooters… I’ll start with the volume of the music. On the exact night we went it was turned up way to loud. I could barely talk to my husband let alone hear what I myself was saying. I get it, it’s Hooters. But it is not a night club. So it would probably be best turned down a bit so we can all hear the music yet carry on a conversation without literally shouting. Next issue, I ended up ordering a bacon cheese burger. I’ve had one at the San Diego Hooters… It was perfection. So I was hoping for the same results. Haaaaa. What a joke. My burger came out dry as can be… No flavor. And the meat was falling apart it was so over cooked. So I just ate my fries. Our waitress (who would often go MIA for long periods of time) offered me a new one but I declined. She explained the cooks really stink and had been making mistakes all day. So I assumed that means all day… Everyday. She also mentioned they’d take it off the bill. Not to long after the manager came by. He offered to re cook it for me but I again declined. He then listed a few things he could do for me. Including a free beer on the house… Which when I took that offer he explained he shouldn’t even do but it was his last night so he didn’t really care. I got a free beer which sort of made up for it. But if even the manager points out how horrible the cooks etc are it doesn’t give me hope now that he is gone it’ll get better. If you come here I suggest sticking to deep fried items only and the alcoholic beverages. Who knows how the cooks will do with anything that involves actual effort. I doubt we will return to this location. Oh I almost forgot a lot of the girls literally had their whole ass cheeks out… I get the boobs and butts but do we all need to literally see your ass? I’ve never seen girls show that much at any of the multiple hooters locations I’ve been to…

We’ve been going to Hooters since the late 80s when we lived in Florida and have both always enjoyed the wings. We went this time because we received a coupon at a Florence Freedom game to buy ten boneless wings and get ten free. At $ 8.99 per 10 it made it worth trying.
We went on Tuesday evening around seven and there were only about fifteen people so we were seated and served right away. We ordered the ten boneless wings each along with ten buffalo shrimp. My wife also ordered the deep fried pickles as an appetizer. We both had a beer and the pickles were brought out shortly after the beer. They had a nice thin breading and they were warm and crisp. I’m usually not a big fan but I tried a couple and they were pretty tasty. I also tried the dipping sauce but it had an odd flavor to me. The wife like both.
The boneless wings would be expensive at 89 cents each, but with the coupon it was a pretty good deal. They were meaty and crisp and they held the sauce well. It is of course easier without the bones but I definitely prefer actual wings. We went with medium sauce on all since the wife doesn’t like things too spicy and it had just enough warmth to make them truly buffalo flavored.
The shrimp were really good, cooked perfectly, not overdone and chewy like I’ve had at other Hooters. We ordered ten but the plate had thirteen which was an added bonus.
Our waitress was friendly and checked on the food and drinks just enough to not be bothersome and yet still be available if needed. Without the coupon the total would have been $ 43 (that included three bottled beers) but with the coupon in came in at $ 34. Not a bad deal with the extra shrimp and the fact you get much more meat with the boneless wings that even allowed us to bring four of them home for the next day. We will definitely return, probably on a Wednesday when you can get all the wings you can eat for $ 11.99.

The only reason I’m giving Hooters 2 stars is for their wings. They are hands down the best in town. If I’m in the mood for wings, I am definitely coming here!
But the past handful of times I’ve come here the service has been horrible.
The waitresses forget half the stuff that is ordered. The blue cheese/​ranch is with the wrong plates.
Three things ordered at the table came out wrong– one of them came wrong twice.
The bills were separated wrong and mysteriously there was extra stuff charges to a couple tickets.
We came on Wednesday for all you can eat wing night and It took 30 min to get our first order. We ordered the second order immediately when we got our food and still waited another 12 minutes after finishing the initial plate for them to come.
You would think they would have this down to a science with them being open for so long but I am repeatedly disappointed.
Good wings but nothing else for me.

Did you know they have THEMED COSTUME NIGHTS? That gets them the 4^th star, any other night of the week, they go down a star. So yea, wings blah blah blah, fries blah blah blah. HOOTERS! actually, their wings are pretty decent, cincinnati is kind of a wing desert, and the chains sadly, do it pretty well. their sandwiches suck, their fries are alright. But let’s be honest the girls are the draw AND OH MY GOD NAUGHTY NURSE OUTFITS!!! did you know this place is called HOOTERS?

Hooter’s Florence gets 5 Stars for service, atmosphere, food, cleanliness and efficiency. Hooter’s Corporate Managers should be horse whipped for promoting Mother’s Day free lunch. Every one knows there is no such thing as a «free lunch»! Mother’s with children eat free? How about loyal well mannered patrons eat free. We should have walked out the minute we walked in. Most of the «muthas» and their offspring were rude, ungrateful, overly present and would have been happier elsewhere. I would like to invite one family to dine, my treat, at a restaurant of their choice (excluding any Hooters) next Mother’s Day.
In spite of the incident (promotion) my mother enjoyed herself tremendously…

There is something funny about a «Hooters». Like, I get a kick out of the creepy middle-​aged guy at the bar who treats the place like its a dirty stripclub and he is living the life being surrounded by «chicks». Yes, girls wear tank tops here… so what? We live in the age of the internet and I’m pretty jaded.
Anyway, the beer selection at «Hooters», atleast at this location, is absolutely horrendous. They really need to step it up. The food? Not to get too graphic, but I have a pretty strong stomach but wow did the food «affect» me the next morning (if you catch my drift). At least it allowed me to get a lot of reading done! That being said, the steak quesadilla was surprisingly good despit the aftermath.

The Florence KY location is not my 1^st Hooters experience geographically and most likely not my last. Why do guys go to Hooters? Good TV’s, beer, wings and pretty servers. Feel free to get as politically correct as you choose, but the common denominator is what brings us back.
The weekday happy hour specials are very good, bar well drinks are well priced, finger food is not going to drain your wallet. (Fried Pickles are gross – sorry).
I realize that the extra friendly service is part of the sales process, yet I have been fortunate at this location to be seated at Kayla’s area that service quality was never an issue, as I am here on business I am a single occupant at Hooters. The hostess always offers me my choice of any unoccupied table I want, a 6 top by myself? I get as good treatment as if I were a 6 – 8 top. My reaction is usually to defer to the hostess to express my feeling about hogging a large table, my goodwill question is always quickly dismissed and my order is ready to be taken.
More wing flavor options are really needed in my opinion. Eight are not good enough for me. I go to Hooters with tight clothes (not mine) beer and wings as my primary focus, Is it Hooters fault, or just my preference?.. We all know the customer is always right.
10 wings should not cost 10+ dollars and getting 20 wings, saving $ 2.00-$ 3.00 and only being able to split the flavors two ways completely offends me.
Also, why must I get charged .59 for my 1 blue cheese? You can not just give the 1^st as a FREE accompaniment to my order, really? even on 20 wings? .Fill in the blanks here-​THAT IS BULL_​HIT.
Definitely go Daytona Naked wings, the breaded are just clumsy and the chicken is completely over covered.
Bud light-​Miller Etc are not beers I would ever drink-​they are just so shallow. The Linny’s Oktoberfest, Sam Adams and Killians are great options, but $ 5.00 a draft (22oz) is almost a good price, cut another buck off and obtain another star and A FREE 1^st BLUE CHEESE or RANCH!
