Love the 24 hour service! Food is on point too. Love the barbacoa burrito. Quick, friendly service even at 2 am. If you haven’t tried it and you like Mexican food, give Jalapeños a try.

Had an early lunch here today with a friend of mine. Chips were great as well as the salsa(salsa had a good flavor). I had the white cheese enchaladas with rice and beans, and they were really good. My friend had the«special» burrito and said that it was good as well. She did say the potatoes seemed a little dry. Service was good as well. I would have given 4 stars but I do not like the fact that if you use a card to pay they charge you an extra 50 cents. Seems a little crazy in this day and age. Other than that my experience was great. Not gormet(this is Flornce after all) but good. Will return.

Not that many choices for food in Florence, but we picked the wrong restaurant. This is basically one of those 24 hour Mexican joints, but it also features a dining room. So, it was like a Filberto’s decided to offer waitress service. I could tell because it felt like they dumped 15 of those to-go cups of watery salsa into a bowl and there is your salsa for the decent chips. The guac was bright and shiny and lacking anything that resembled avocado. The white meat chicken in my green salsa enchilada’s was tough and hard to swallow and the charro beans had a lot of strange ingredients floating around in a soupy kind of mess. Other people’s entrees all looked good, but all were sub par or maybe we just needed a few drinks to make this drive through food edible again. I guess if you live in Florence(which is an ugly town) this is the best you can get.

I love Jalapenos! The service is nice. The food is decently priced, and delicious. They have tasty rice, carne asada burritos, and super nachos. The tamales plate is even good! Sometimes they do get a little carried away with the onions, but most of the time the food is pretty great. I usually take out. Dining in is so different now. This place has been through so many owners, but the quality of the food has never changed.

Inconsistent pricing dependent on who happens to be behind the cash register. I’ve paid both $ 1 and 1.95 for the same soda, burrito price can range as much as $ 2 as well. Love the Tacos but the other food items flavor depends on the cook. But hey it’s the only place in Florence that’s open all night, a good thing when you work graveyard shift.

I only lived in Florence for a short period of time but quickly became addicted to this place. I love Mexican food — and Jalapeños, although without much competition, always came through. Try the rolled tacos with guacamole!

Not spectacular, but not bad. Quick easy and the salsa is great! The food is nothing to write home about, but if you are a chips and salsa fan this place will keep you coming back.

We ended up eating here, only because Old Pueblo was closed for remodeling. The food was OK, along with the service. I had the carnitas chimichanga, meat was bland, no seasoning or spice. Girlfriend had the chile relleno, same bland taste. The total ended up being about $ 35 for the 3 of us, which IMHO was way over priced for the quality and taste and they charge you 50 cents to run any type of credit/debit card too, and that’s always annoying.
