I’m pretty sure everyone there hates their job. No one smiles & no one is nice. Had to get fabric cut at the table and the lady screamed at an elderly lady to grab a number. Scared me! Then I when it was my turn I smiled & greeted her and she didn’t even look at me none the less acknowledge that I was there. Cashier was just as angry.
Jo Ann’s as a big boxed store has everything I need so I’ll continue to shop there but the people who work there make it miserable to be there.

I recently visited the new location on Sprial Drive, near Kohls. My son’s fiancé and I went in to browse for bridal patterns and fabrics. We found what we wanted but stood in a huge long line to get samples of the fabrics. The ladies weren’t helpful when we asked for a certain color and she clearly didn’t want to look to see if there was a bolt of it that just hadn’t been put back yet. That was a little discouraging. However, the pattern was originally $ 10.99 marked down to $ 1.99 so that was encouraging. Overall, the store is pretty large and has a large selection of everything. Getting someone knowledgable and willing to help may be difficult.
