This is an adorable little wine and cheese shop. I unfortunately can’t really comment on the wine portion of their business. I walked in with a cheese craving and had blinders on. It was history once I made eye contact with a block of Rogue Chocolate Stout Cheese. What in the heck is that, you ask? Well. It’s surprisingly delicious and creamy(…good since it’s cheese, right?) and an all-around spectacular cheese. Also, it was yellow, not brown. Thank goodness! Brown cheese just doesn’t sound all too appealing to me. It was pretty pricy at $ 11, but you can ask the nice women working to cut it up and make it into a tray.(Note: Goes for any cheese.) I also purchased bread for $ 2.50 to go with it, because it would probably be weird to eat cheese by itself. Although, I’m not above it if we’re being completely honest here. The only slightly frustrating thing was that, in order to fit it on the provided tray, half of the cheese wasn’t cut up, but instead placed in a doggy bag. I would have eaten it. Ah, well. I’m sure many people do appreciate that. My favorite part of my trip to this shop was the ability to sit at one of their sidewalk tables. It was a sunny, warm, pre-spring day and it was beautiful. It really made for a great experience. If I’m ever in the area again for any reason, I would absolutely make a return trip. Even if just for that cheese alone.
