Macy’s

Lancôme counter staff slow and not professional. I expect better from Macy’s and Lancôme. (Shopping with wife). Upstairs in men’s dept service was great. Down here, not so much.

This comment is only for the jewelry section of Macy’s. Anytime I come there is only 1 person working in the jewelry department and it takes FOREVER to find someone to help you. Then once they’ve helped you it takes 15 – 20 minutes to check out. I’ve literally been standing here for 15minutes lol it’s never an easy process! The people are sweet but get it together Macy’s!!!

This was an unusual store in that there is also a Macy’s Home store in the mall at a different location.
I mostly looked at the men’s clothing and found nothing unusual or great. It seems fairly spread out across the sales floor, but there was an electronics sales cabinet, and next to that, there seemed to be women’s clothing, though the store seemed to stop not far from there. It made me wonder what was on the lower level, and now, I wonder why I didn’t look further… something about my migraine.
I didn’t talk to any of the employees, and I don’t remember talking to them on other visits.
I like Macy’s because they have the same brands across stores and they certainly solidified the Macy’s name by taking in Bamberger’s, Burdines, Rike’s, Shillito’s, Lazarus, Robinson-​May, etc. etc. etc. I can always depend on Macy’s because of what they have.

This is a review of Macy’s Home — furniture gallery. I recently purchased a couch and love seat set from this Macy’s location and was impressed with the level of service. I had always been under the impression that Macy’s was out of my price range, but stopped in on a whim one Saturday. I was surprised at the far superior selection — much more classy designs and much better constructed/​manufactured. I was most surprised with the prices — they were comparable or less than the other «discount» stores I had been shopping (Morris, Value City, Furniture Fair). On top of the competitive prices — I also got 12 months same as cash financing, 15% off for opening a Macy’s account, and FREE delivery! I was so excited at this find.
The only downside was that the sales team in very understaffed at this location. There seemed to be only one sales rep with about 8 different customers wanting to make a purchase or inquiry, so I did have to wait awkwardly for a decent amount of time and fight off a few other groups for the sales guy’s attention. I brought my dad and friend back since then in their furniture searches and the same was true — just not enough reps.
I was also extremely pleased with Macy’s home delivery. Two movers came and did a phenomenal job moving my new purchases into my home. They were very courteous and knew exactly what they were doing. They put down a rug and used shoe covers so that they didn’t trek dirt into my house. They also made sure not to scratch my new hardwood floors when setting up and moving in. Also, they were on time and gave me a two hour window for delivery, so that I wasn’t sitting home all day waiting.
I would definitely make another purchase from Macy’s. Good stuff!

Well, the person who helped me was very nice and patient with me while I was making up my mind. The item I bought was on sale, and rang up incorrectly. This was quickly remedied by sales associate. In the course of checking, I mentioned that I had recently made a purchase on the Macy’s website, and she mentioned that they would price match the website if there was something cheaper online. I know they probably make commission, but she really went above and beyond expectations for a low dollar amount sale.
If I were just rating the service, it would have been 5 stars. Unfortunately, the prices are just too high. It doesn’t make sense to shop here unless the item you want is on sale. When they do put items on sale, they are very reasonably priced. I’ve also never had any quality issues with items I’ve purchased from them.

This Macy’s is hard to rate. The selection here is significantly less in qantity for misses shopping than other stores — however the home section of the store is huge.
Sometimes this particular Macy’s is ramsacked — competely unorganized and disheveled depending on what season you shop or what time of the week you visit. The staff and customer service isn’t poor but it isn’t outstanding either.
I rarely find clothing on my visits to this store — the TriCounty store is much better stocked and organized.
