Magnuson Hotel

This place was by far the nastiest place I have ever seen in my life. We didn’t even push back the covers because it was THAT BAD. There were patched holes all over the place in the room the hotel breakfast room was shut up and when we left that morning breakfast wasn’t even being served. The Tv in the room was so old the tubes in it were going bad. The mounted mirror on the wall was completely crooked. Whoever painted that room didn’t know what they were doing bc there was paint all over the trim and floor. The «free laundry» spot in the hotel had stains all over the walls. The bathroom probably hadn’t been cleaned in months. When we ordered pizza we were even ashamed to tell them where we were staying. I would never recommend that hotel to anyone. We got it on a last minute decision and that was the worst decision we have ever made. The curtains were so digesting once we opened them we wouldn’t even touch them again. There was cigarette burns on the comforter. DO NOT GO THERE!

Hands down no joke. HANDS DOWN the worst hotel I’ve EVER been to. WOW. I Cannot believe this place is still operational. I call this the heroine inn bc that’s what it felt like. A place where hookers and addicts go to get away. Dirty everything. I wouldn’t even sleep under the sheets! Stains on everything. Holes in the walls, holes in the sheets. The green drapes were literally brown! They have old tv’s that doesn’t even produce a watchable picture. The place stunk to high heaven. WOW. I’m literally blown away. At one point I wanted to turn to the person I was with and be like, You just wanna leave and drive through the night to get home? DO NOT stay here. This deserves (-) NEGATIVE STARS but unfortunately Unilocal doesn’t have that option. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I ever experienced such a TRASHY place. This hotel should absolutely be condemned.

The place was horrible i was afraid to use the toleit there was used condoms used pantes burn holes rat crap the people running this building should kill theme selves the place smelled like a sewer have they never herd of bleach there was black mold in the tube if a sewer rat stayed here it would probily clean everything then kill itself this place is a over priced peace of crap that looks like death would be scared to sit down i would of rather be killed then to ever stay there again i was afraid to be rapedd by the many gangs that were there if i could i would tear down the building hoping that the peple that ran it were inside.

Bed bugs, bed bugs… bed bugs! Better pack your bug repellent of you plan on staying here. In 1 night I received 13 bug bites from my legs to my arms. Management claims the rooms were ‘treated’ when all that was really done was a quick stream of the mattress and box spring. Not a real treatment for the pests. Room was dirty, carpet was nasty and dated and the smell in the room was awful. The bed linens are probably 30 years old, has holes and stains. Not to mention what can only be described as black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The walls had been vandalized with graffiti and no attempts to cover it up. The owners obviously care more about taking your money then they do about taking care of the property. Oh, and don’t ask housekeeping for anything, I asked for a box of tissue but couldn’t get one because my room was not on her list for that day to be serviced. Seriously? I didn’t like this establishment at all and would never recommend it to anyone. I would recommend you stay somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars I would. The lobby is VERY tired but traveling down the smoke entrenched hall way to our room was like walking the Green Mile. This place is HORRIBLE!!! I can’t say it enough. Interesting that one of the bed spreads in our non– smoking room has a cigarette burn amongst other questionable stains. Then we pulled the bed back and OMG. Disgusting sheets with «love stains». I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER recommend staying here. I will wear socks and a body suit to bed and get a tetanus shot when I leave! Pray for me!

A real gem in an unexpected spot. We called ahead and the room was held for us with just our names, not even a credit card. Arriving after midnight a pleasant and personable young man checked us in. For $ 56 including all taxes on a Friday night we got a clean non-​smoking two queen bed room. There was a small fridge, microwave, tv, immaculately clean bathroom, and a well-​operating air conditioner. Domino’s even delivered in 25 minutes right to our room. The beds were like sleeping on clouds after a long drive. At 5:30am when we checked out the same smiling clerk was still on duty, cheery and bright. We’ll definitely stay here again. Worth looking for even though a bit tricky to find in the dark and with on-​going road construction. Excellent value.
