This hospital needs a serious maintenance! I just wanna get out of here when we took my daughter for her Heart doctor appointment. This place is so old and needs to be cleaned!!! We took the elevator goin up to the 4th floor and the elevator and the floor is so disgusting. Oh boy. Even the restroom is so disgusting. Please utilize the money your patients have been paying to this hospital. Make use of it in a good way. Spend your bucks maintaining this hospital for the benefit of your patients!!!

In April my husband was seen at MRMC while on a trip. I unfortunately paid the bill in May and subsequently my insurance company paid them as well. I have been trying for months to obtain a refund. They seem unable to resolve a simple billing situation. Every time I call I am promised it will be corrected immediately but then nothing happens. When I call back they seem to have no history and I have to start over. Everyone who says they will call you back, doesn’t, even when escalated to a supervisor. They are so clearly disorganized and do not care about their professional responsibilities. Next stop, complaint to the regulatory agencies!

I delivered my daughter here in March and had a wonderful experience… with the hospital and staff… NOT my labor/delivery — ouch, LOL! The labor and delivery nurses were attentive and caring, as were the nurses in the mother’s wing. I was there for 4 days and I felt confident in the staff that my daughter and I were both receiving excellent care. My room was cleaned every day, all the nurses were friendly, NOONE seemed like they were having a bad day or «too busy» for my requests, and the food was surprisingly good! The pull out chair/bed was comfortable for my husband and we were able to order food for him, too. I am so glad that the most joyful memory of my life(becoming a mother) is not clouded by a bad hospital experience. I enthusiastically recommend MRMC to all of my friends who are expecting.

We are from out of town and had to stop here because it’s the only place open at 10pm. It’s now 1:30 am and we are still waiting. Back home, I have never waited more than 2 hours. Staff is useless and they act as if they know they are understaffed and do not care. Unless you are dying… move along… nothing to do here but sit and wait. Worst experience ever and I’m embarrassed for them!

Terrible! After my husband suffered a heart attack last year he was sent to McLeod. VERY unorganized and the only positive experience I had was in the cafeteria. The billing department was a mess. After giving them my insurance information 3x they still didn’t submit anything. It is difficult enough to deal with the stress regarding my husband… worst yet is they just didn’t care about anything. Will NEVER go back there even if my life depends on it!
