For some bazaar reason the little village for Florence, MA has four pizza restaurants within site of one another. This means if you’re going to make pizza it better be good! Pizza Factory is the best of the lot. Massachusettes has a lot of Italians so Pizza around here is real. It’s not North Dakota Pizza made by Norwegians. Ted Cruz does not work here. Pizza Factory has been around for a long time, as long as I can remember. It’s old school by virtue of longevity and new school by virtue of the optional and excellent whole wheat crust. The pizza here is typical thin crust pizza and not some deep dish Chicago BS. Pizza Factory also has a storied past with some real intrigue. i am sworn to secrecy. No kidding. It’s more or less a to go only setup. The buy one get one free take away deal is amazing. This is a great local pie shop.

The pizza is now consistently better than it had been at times.

Surprisingly good, and a decent value with their 2-for-1. The only negative was the rude cashier/phone woman. Who was actually consistently rude. But the two folks in the back making pizzas seemed happy and competent!

We called to confirm that the Everyday Pick Up deal really meant BOGO and it did. The pizza was amazing and we had the second one as leftovers the next day. Our toppings: chicken, pineapple, jalapeño, and spinach. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. It is a great value and tastes just as great.

I’ve been coming here for years, and they consistently have the tastiest pizza around, great deals(2 for the price of 1!), and a very friendly staff to boot. I’d highly recommend their whole wheat pizzas. Had the opportunity to make a short film here with some friends, and everyone was more than happy to take time out of a busy weekend night to help out. Watch here: Thank you Pizza Factory!

I preface this with the fact I am picky about pizza. It is the best 2 for 1 in the area, thus the extra star.

Pesto pizza was straight cash homey. Buy one get one free on pie for pickup was a stroke of genius. All in all, good pizza at a very fair price. Can’t wait to order again!

We love the Pizza Factory. Our favorites — the Mediterranean on wheat and the pesto pizza without sauce — we have now mixed it all up and started getting the vegetarian here and there. Always spot on — we probably get pizza from here every week or so — it is in the speed dial for a good reason!

My friends and I all agree that this is probably the best pizza in the Northampton/Amherst area. Pinnochio’s is good, but something about there quality has gone down over the years. Sam’s is just trying to copy pinnochio’s, and is not better or worse. Antonio’s is definitely good, but Pizza Factory really has the NY style nailed down, and when you throw in the wheat crust it makes for a great pizza.

This is good, small town pizza. Our favorites are the mediterranean and Pico’s pesto.

Actually, the buy one get one free if you pick up applies all the time — it certainly has every time we’ve ordered, and we always pick up. It’s good for either large OR small pizzas, but not minis(personal size). The sauce is yummy, the whole wheat crust is good, and with the pickup special, it’s a good value. Nothing fancy, here; just good pizza.

Their whole wheat pizza crust is amazing. I don’t tend to think of pizza as a healthy food option, but when I eat the whole wheat pizza here, I feel like I’ve actually had a nutritious meal. They do delivery, the pizza is fresh and very yummy. If you pick up instead of getting delivery, they have a special deal sometimes where you can get a second pizza free *AND* if you don’t want the second pizza, they’ll donate it to charity. This is THE go-to spot for pick up /delivery pizza in Northampton. Yes, Pizza Paradiso also has good pizza, but that’s all fancy schmancy. This is just regular, down home, yummy pizza with great crust. Also, the sauce is fantastic too. I don’t know if you can sit down in their spot at all, so this is really just a pick-up /delivery type place and they don’t do slices, only whole pizzas.
