I feel like this place has a very bright future. The customer service we received was the best I’ve ever gotten. They helped us figure out travel plans. There’s quite simply just a great energy in the store that is a result of the outstanding owner and employees.
They have great organic bulk food tea variety and local produce. While we talking to the owner, they received a shipment of local strawberries that were some of the best I’ve had. This was such a welcome stop on a very long road trip.

I gave this lovely LITTLE shop the best rating because:
1. Totally friendly service! The people who work and volunteer in this little bright spot in a pretty dim food desert on the beautiful coast of Oregon are very helpful and welcoming.
2. No other food store in Florence offers the quality local organic, sustainable grown fruit and veggies from local farms like Whiskey Creek Farms, Herb Jar Artisan breads and Deck Family Farms which promotes a strong local food economy which is what will save us from the dangerous corporatization of our food.
3. This co-​op offers people a sense of community. If you have a product you would like brought in (that is regionally produced of course) or you have products you make and would like to sell they are very open to have it and sell it in the store. As a member of the co-​op, I feel like I am part of making the economy stronger (which is good for everyone).
4. The quality of the items sold in the store are very fresh/​safe/​healthy and delicious! Some of the best jams I’ve ever eaten are Sweet Creek Foods jams, made less than 45 miles from Florence!
5. The store has a bulletin board where you can find services and products in the area. The store is very clean and offers bulk items from herbs to flours, salts, pasta etc.
I am very grateful to have this little store near me. I hope to be a member for many years to come!
