Excellent service and selection. The buffet was kept filled and the food fresh. Our server was Sarah and she was on top of her game. What I also liked was the general friendliness of the staff and that they helped each other. Definitely on our list of places to stop at again. In fact, I’m writing g this review to help me remember where it is!

Was very hungry so i stopped for a bite, the waitress was very nice and attentive… i ordered off the menu because at 11:30am i didnt feel like breakfast buffet, which they serve until 1:00pm on saturday. I ordered a simple grilled chicken sandwich with french fries. The fries would have been good if it wasnt for them being overly salted, the grilled chicken had lettuce tomatoe and mayo. The chicken was overly salty, the mayo was runny, which made the«toasted» bread soggy. I dont believe the bread was actually toasted. Its sad that i can get a better chicken sandwich at mcdonalds then this place. Maybe the buffet would have been better. But i would not suggest the grilled chicken sandwich.

Good breakfast bar but gets crowded quickly. The employees were keeping the selections full. Cherie was a great server and very attentive to our table.

We’ve been to Shoney’s in Fla, and we’ve tried this one, on our way down South, and again, this one in SC has not been very impressive. The wait staff, has been decent, but the food that is brought out to us, has not been so great. Several issues with it, and they need to pay atention to the order, aswell as how they serve the food. Baked spaghetti should be served with sauce that is NOT cold. Chicken tenders as a dinner, should be more than 5 small tenders, and some fries. Me, and my wife, were the only to order, and our 4 yr old boys just picked from our plates. We went here for dinner, aswe were too tired to get back into the car, and drive to another place, but going forwards, we’ll opt to driving someone, no matter how tired we are. I know they are independently pwned/operated, and food difers depending on the area, but I have not been impressed on the first time we went to this one, 2 years ago. Now I know why we skipped it last year, on our way South.

We stopped in here on our way home after a Fourth of July reunion of sorts with my family in Lake City. The service was a bad as I have ever experienced. Our server was a stoner, or was trying to play one. Nasty, dirty hair hanging over her face, seemed to be half asleep when she talked to us, could not get a refill of coke, and when she brought the check, she informed us that we had waited about long enough for it. We had finished eating for over 15 minutes, at least. I love Shoney’s Breakfast bar, have for years, this one was pretty good too. However, the only thing that I ate that my bride did not eat was the bologna. It tasted a little different at first bite, then I realized after a few bites that it was bad. It may have not been held cold properly, it may have been out of date, but it was bad. On the three hour trip back to NC, I stopped a total of six times, four to throw up, two for dry heaves. I have never been so sick in my life. When you are serving food to this amount of folks, you need to be careful. It kicked my ass, but what it would have done to an elderly person, or someone with a weakened immune system, scares me to think about. I will not be having any bologna in the near future, but y’all need to get your act together.

Great service-quick, friendly and full of southern charm! The food was freshly made and hot, overall best experience in Shoneys. The restaurant was very clean.
