The coffee was great, cute shop with a gorgeous view and deck on the water. I loved sitting on the deck enjoying my coffee. It was covered and protected us from the rain.

Great ambiance, usually quite busy. We love to stop in and order a peppermint mocha, and a regular mocha. Super creamy, with great coffee taste. Not super sweet, just perfect.

My husband and I usually go out once a month. We always make time for our favorite coffee baristas. Such a friendly, wonderfully warm atmosphere. The coffee is always perfect. I recommend that whatever drink you get, make certain to get the espresso whip on it. The homey feel will have you making new friends in no time.

Delicious! I had their latte which was so smooth. They also had a Berry pie from Kathleen’s and Nina’s, so

Ahhh… caffeine. In what might well be a break from modern consumerism, it’s difficult to find the only Starbucks in Florence, Oregon. If you’re still looking, it’s in the Safeway. Fortunately, you don’t have to make the trip only to find that it’s a supermarket experience. Save your time and stop by the Siuslaw River Coffee Roasters and enjoy good coffee(wide variety) and one of the best coffee-shop atmosphere’s I can imagine. As an aside, I drink black coffee, so I can’t speak to any of their fancy, fufu drinks, but the scones are fantastic!

I had an excellent latte this morning on my trip down the Oregon Coast. It was definitely one of the best so far. This is also a cute little shop with a nice back patio looking out at the bridge.

Outstanding coffee and service. The super friendly barista(owner?) rebated us for a free cup a coffee when I went back and purchased two bags of hand roasted coffee beans. I guess a free cup comes with every bag of coffee. The café is «country comfy» with lots of knick knacks for sale. The place has a real rustic, authentic feel, which makes sense since it’s the site of a former automobile garage. What impressed me is that it’s still all about the coffee here, serving on site roasted coffee and making great beverages. Stop by if you’re ever in Florence. It’s worth the trip!

I so want to love this place. Gorgeous view. Pretty space. Mellow indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is a 5. It’s just the rest of it that isn’t. Lukewarm customer service and very mediocre coffee. Despite paying around $ 4 for my watery iced latte, I drank maybe ¼ of it. It was awfully bland and not worth drinking. The coffee beans used weren’t robust at all. The barista had been rather dismissive earlier and while I’m sure I could’ve had it remade, it didn’t seem worth the fuss. I didn’t try a pastry. I’ve seen rave reviews of them but they looked paltry and overpriced. It was afternoon, though, so perhaps they’re awesome when fresher. Here’s my thought: if you consider the slightly overpriced coffee the cost of admission to the pretty deck, you’ll probably be satisfied with your experience here. If you want delicious coffee or a filling snack, you’ll be best off going elsewhere. I’ll go back, try something different and be happy if I have reason to up my rating.

I bookmarked this place because of the great reviews and we stopped in on our way to the Heceta Head Lighthouse. I ordered the Almond Joy Mocha(I love coconut). It was okay. I think it would have been better iced! I’m not being picky or snooty, I actually enjoyed my latte. It wasn’t amazing but it was perfectly fine. I do have to say this place is at an amazing location! And the shop is filled with cute(although expensive) items. One of the baristas wasn’t very friendly. My husband had ordered our drinks ‘for here’ but we actually needed them ‘to go’ because we were on a schedule. She had already started to brew my espresso into a mug but we asked if she could make it to go instead and she kind of scoffed and gave us a look. I thought that was really rude because it wasn’t that ridiculous of a request. I will definitely come back on our next visit to Florence though because I want to give them another try.

SRCR is one of those places that can make a road trip. It’s a really really friendly, casual and lovely coffee house, right on the river, with sun and friendly people, and wifi. The coffee of course was great, but the highlight was the apple fritter, which you know I’m going to order. It was a little expensive, but a taste will make it worthwhile. The fritter had a great dough, not gooey, and the topping was just right, not cloying, not sticky, just the perfect amount for the donut. The best I’ve had. We stayed for over an hour, just enjoying the ambience.

This is a great place for coffee in Florence. Decent beans, friendly staff, great atmosphere. There are fun things for sale that you can browse through while you enjoy your drink. They’re pretty kid friendly, although I was disappointed to see my daughter’s drink labeled«kid(girl)» with pink sprinkles on it. She was clothed head to toe in blue and would probably have enjoyed whatever«kid(boy)» decorations they had even more. I guess I’m just used to more progressive places.

My blended chai is the best I’ve had so far. Plenty of seating inside and out, a great back deck for enjoying the river views. The employees are nice, quick and efficient. Go for the delicious coffees and teas, and take the opportunity to revel in the beautiful scenery.

We like everything about this place. Everything. The coffee is great, staff is hip and friendly, ambience is warmly welcoming inside with a great deck & harbor/bridge view outside. Highly recommended, another«great little spot» in the(over-achieving!) Florence Old Town/Bay Street.

One of those places with a bunch of frothy, sugary specialty coffee concoctions… I came in intending to be good and just have plain coffee, but ended up being seduced into a salted caramel latte with whipped f*cking cream. How did THAT happen? In any event, it was delicious… and more importantly, the ambiance was great. I found a great place to sit and charge my phone/check email, in front of a huge picture window looking out over the water. Clientele was kinda suburban yoga-mom/brow-beaten dad/grandma/gramps/spoiled tots on a Saturday stroll… but even that didn’t spoil this place for me. Bathroom was clean, WiFi was fast… let the rest of the clientele wheel their strollers straight into hell; IDGAF!

This was a cool place to relax and take a break after a few hours of driving on the 101. Their cranberry scones are tasty and their breakfast burritos are as well. Coffee was good too!

Delicious coffee with a nice view! I got the snickers coffee(mocha with caramel and hazelnut), it tasted very good. V got an iced almond joy, and that tasted even better! We were able to enjoy the coffee on the back deck with a great view of the bridge. I would skip Starbucks and definitely come here instead.

Very cool place to have and enjoy your cup of coffee. This shop is very unique on its own. If I was a gambolling man I would bet this is the best coffee shop in all of Oregon’s coast. They offer very tasty coffee, comfortable ambiance, unique items to see and purchase, and most of all, a very friendly staff.

This is my son’s favorite coffee shop in the area, so he took me here when I was in town. I can see why he likes it so much! Very cool & friendly. As a former Barista himself, Son knows his coffee and this is the place for him. I’m not a coffee drinker, but had a great cup of tea plus a light and tasty crustless quiche with cheese and bacon. Best part was sitting on the back deck enjoying the beautiful view and spotting sea lions!
