When I moved to Florence I knew I would miss my cigar shop.
So, I wandered aimlessly until someone recommended Straus Tobacconist.
As I walked in the environment, it all resonated –everything– I wanted from my shop, large humidor, someone to greet me but not be in my face and a great selection of fine cigars.
I can’t complain about the cigar quality at all. There is nothing worse than getting home and cutting your cigar to find it old and dry. You won’t have those problems here.
I haven’t had time in my few trips to smoke in the lounge. but I will. I will.
P. S. The main man behind the counter had an Apple Watch. That’s my kind of place. 5+ Stars.

As a regular customer, Or even any kind of customer.
I will not be asked to «not park in the closest parking spots.»
Really, a retail store, telling customers where to park.
Ok, I will park so far from the door, I will be at another business.

They understand customer service.
We had not been there for a year or more because they didn’t carry the candela wrapped Fuente that we like. But we noticed they had moved to another location on Mall Rd., so we thought we would check it out. It is a much nicer layout. The smoking room is very nice.
And the best thing, they now carry the candela wrapped Fuente. He even asked me what size we prefer. He’ll order it for us and have it in a week or two. Awesome!
We not only will be back, we will also be telling our cigar loving friends.
