Wife and I stopped in on a rainy Sunday for fudge and to browse, and ended up chatting with the owners for a while. Very friendly couple who love what they do; the shop is clean and well-stocked, the fudge was great, and we got a couple bags of awesome candy building blocks to give as Xmas gifts.

5 stars for having my husband’s favorite sucker that we only find during Halloween. He searches for these carmel apple suckers all the time. They had them there for .50 each! I can’t wait to bring them home to him. They had what looks to be homemade fudge, there was a couple in there buying some raving about it. They also have there salt water taffy that is cheaper than most places in this town. I will be definitely be going back, next time with my husband in tow, so he can buy as many carmel apple suckers as he wants! =0)

«Candy Shoppe» is the name of the sign outside this store. They have a great business attitude– if you look at some of the pictures, you would understand what I mean by it. This seemed to be own by a lovely couple and they are very appreciative that we went into their store even if some of us didn’t purchase anything. [+] This place sells all kind of candy items: regular popcorn, caramel popcorn, chocolate truffles, fudges, rock candy, sour heads, gummies and among other old school candy that you don’t see very often. It’s basically all of the popular candy that you used to have when you were kids and are no long popular now are being sold here! I did not take any pictures of the place because I was afraid that the owners did not like it. I purchased a rock candy for $ 1(which was cheap) and 4 pieces of Zotz for $.25(my friend described it as ‘very similar to war-heads, but not’- get the lemon ones). Also, remember those pop rock candy? They made chocolate pop rock candy! Definitely a weird feeling! [-] Things were pretty pricey. A regular Kitkat $ 1, a bag of gummies $ 2.50, etc. But then again, you’re at the coast and having fun, who cares about the price! [?] Definitely a MUSTSEE!
