Tri-State Lock

This place took reservation to change locks for us. The day came we called to see what time they would be here. At that time they said «oh we cannot make it until next week».
Unbelievable, guess if we had not called we would still be waiting.

I was very disappointed in the service! I am not one to even write reviews but felt this was necessary. I called at 9am to have them unlock my son’s car and they came out fairly quickly (which was a good thing given the situation). When the guy arrives he mentioned Monday wasn’t starting off so good and then proceeded to do his thing. He barely attempted to get the car unlocked complaining that «this is just impossible» as my son’s car has tinted windows and he «couldn’t see a thing.» After about 5 minutes of barely trying (in my opinion, I don’t really know as I don’t do this for a living) he gives up after going back to his van and saying he didn’t have the correct tools so he was going to go do another job, get something to pick the lock and then return. He couldn’t guarantee me a time but stated «a little after lunch.» I called back at 2pm when no one had returned and asked if he was coming back to be told «that’s the plan last I talked to him.» At 340pm I called again and got a voicemail and stated I was taking my business elsewhere due to this taking all day. I had to take the day off of work to deal with an all day thing that literally was solved by another person from another company in the exact same way this guy started in 5 minutes flat. I wouldn’t waste your time. Very unprofessional!

We were in Dire Strait. First of all, we called to get an Estimate on getting our gates fixed from Tri-​State lock. They came by that day. That’s one of the fastest Service call, which I was so impressed. High kudos. So Jeff the locksmith looked at the lock and said” you only need to replace small screws”. He replaced them in 15 mins. I was so impressed. Before we call Tri-​State lock. We did get another estimate from another company called A-​24 hour door America… RIP OFF!!! company that does Not have integrity. I’m so glad we call Tri-​State Lock. All our stores are going to be service from them. Thank you so much Tri-​State Lock.
