Well this place is just fantastic. The BBQ sauce is a life-changer. Their baby back ribs fall off the bone. I don’t know what else to say. Just go, enjoy, feast, and love bbq.

Food was timely, delicious, and easily the best BBQ joint in the local area. I ordered from my office and everyone was pleased. They went out of their way to give us a great dining experience and very polite at the counter. Chicken tacos in particular are fantastic, as well as the steak quesadilla. The spice has a real kick to it so it was kind of them to put it on the side. I’m eager to try the rest of the menu. I will definitely be coming back.

If you want some of the most tasty bbq you can get in this area, look no further than Oink and Moo. They’re totally rocking everything from tacos to sliders and all the sides you could dream of. I partook in the trifecta which is a skirt steak, chicken, and pork taco. It was out of this world tasty and just the right amount of spicyness. The baked mac&cheese and cornbread will totally send you over into bliss.

This place is amazing! Found this place from a Facebook post and I remember seeing them at some food truck festivals. They finally got a brick and mortar store. All the food is amazing but I recommend to get the Trifecta and Baked Mac & Cheese, you won’t be disappointed.

Let me tell you about the chicken chipotle tacos!!! The blend of flavors was amazing. You know that feeling when you’re genuinely sad because you’ve ate all your food? That’s how I felt after eating these tacos. I also tried the pulled pork chili. I’m not the biggest fan of pork, but this chili was cooked to perfection. Super flavorful that actually had me going back for me. And the last thing I had was the Mac and cheese. I don’t know how they got it to be that cheesy! SO good. I can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely be ordering the tacos!

Found my way to a residential section of Florham Park that did not seem a place for a, restaurant. However, there’s limited traffic and easy street parking. The restaurant was very clean. At 1:30 on a Wednesday there was only one other patron. I opted for a small sampling just to put my toe in the water. Brisket slider: the brisket was unimpressive. Pretty dry and lacking flavor. It was a disappointment. Pulled pork slider: very good. Nice smoke flavor while maintaining moisture. I’d return for a pound of pulled pork on its own. Chili: decent flavor. Not too spicy. A little too wet. Could really use a little reduction to thicken it and bring it together. This version had me wanting for some crackers, like a soup. Cornbread:underwhelming. Tasted like it came out of a box. Too sweet and cakey. Needed more chunks of real corn. Above order, about $ 14 Happy I tried it out. I’m not rushing to return. A shame. 10 minutes from home, I had high hopes.

Someone took a pretty standard-looking house in a very very very residential neighborhood(read: no shops whatsoever) and converted the front of it into a BBQ joint. My level of intrigue was already flying high. Indeed, as I pulled my car up to the house/restaurant, there it is – Oink & Moo BBQ, with what looks like a two-family house attached to it. I like it. It’s small, quiet, and casual. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Given by some of the photos and artwork on the walls, it looks like Oink & Moo was originally an award-winning food truck that operated out of Philadelphia. I haven’t done any research at all to verify this hypothesis, but this place definitely was born out of a food truck, which is highly appreciated by me ever since I moved back east from LA, the undisputed world capital of food trucks. Oink & Moo focuses on two main dishes — sliders and tacos. And while tacos aren’t necessarily«BBQ,» I appreciate the creativity. The sliders come with 2 per order — and they are massive. One pulled pork and one brisket, slothered in BBQ sauce and their signature cole slaw, with the bread resting on the bottom like a mattress. It was delicious(barring the sauce; see explanation below). Don’t even try to eat this thing without a fork. Tacos were good too — you can get pulled pork, chipotle chicken, or steak, and load it up with all the fixins that the sliders have. The disappointment of the meal were the sides, of which we ordered the collard greens/kale and the baked mac & cheese. They tasted GREAT — but the greens were swimming in liquid to the point where it looked like a soup after two or three bites. The mac & cheese was great but was swimming in oil — we tried to pour out the oil from the small cup and almost 3 tablespoons of oil came out. This turned me off pretty badly, so I’ll probably stick with cornbread from here on out. Also, they do have a few different BBQ sauce variations, but their signature is way too sweet for my taste. They don’t offer a Carolina-style tangy BBQ sauce, or anything mustard-based, which is somewhat off-putting, because their brisket is amazing. Give me better sauce and I will up this to a 4-star with no hesitations whatsoever. They just started doing delivery via GrubHub too, which is great in an area that barely has any participating restaurants. They also cater, and you can get their brisket by the pound($ 20/lb). I’d actually go back with some friends and split two pounds of it right then and there, but I’m not sure if they’d only be able to do that without an official call-ahead catering order. And that’s ok, I mean this is New Jersey and not Texas. Let’s take what we can get here. Open for lunch or an early dinner(they close at 6). I’ll be back!

Delicious food, nice friendly folks, tho slightly high prices. The restaurant is a bit hidden and like everyone said, in a very residential area. Plenty of streetside parking. I got a groupon for 4 entrees and sides and was able to try a variety of things. With groupon, the price was amazing for the quality of food. 1. Got the brisket sliders(2 in an order) $ 8.95 and it was delicious. The meat was abundant — 2 filled me up. Two sliders topped with the signature slaw and I got the spicy BBQ sauce. I love anything spicy and this brought it up to a different level for me and i don’t normally like BBQ sauce. The slaw created a nice contrast and brought freshness to the otherwise oily slider. 2. Skirt Steak $ 9.95 — Seared steak marinated in their own blend of select spices, topped with cilantro-lime slaw & our house made chimichurri sauce. Probably my least favorite out of the 4 — though still very good. The flavor profile was more subtle in this one. but tortilla was nice and soft. Nice meat to veggie ratio. 3. Baby Back Ribs– $ 11.95 for 1⁄3 rack Slow –smoked, dry-rubbed and mopped with spicy BBQ Sauce. OMG — this was so good! the meat was fall-of-the-bone and enough fat to make it juicy and delicious but not too much to make it too oily. The spicy BBQ sauce totally enhanced it. 4. Trifecta tacos $ 8.95 — One pulled pork, one chipotle chicken & one skirt steak. I liked the chicken a lot. The pulled pork is ok… but i am not usually a pulled pork person. Below are descriptions from their website. Pulled Pork — Pork smoked low & slow topped with pineapple BBQ sauce & cilantro-lime slaw Chipotle Chicken — Marinated in our blend of chipotle peppers & unique spices then grilled to perfection, topped with pickled poblanos & drizzled with our own cilantro lime sour cream Skirt Steak — Seared steak marinated in our own blend of select spices, topped with cilantro-lime slaw & our house made chimichurri sauce For the sides, I got collard greens(way too salty and do not recommend), mac & cheese(just ok and quite oily), and classic slaw(this was fresh/crunchy/and not too mayo-ish). Would definitely go back with groupon. Without it, i’d get the ribs when I am craving some juicy ribs!

Best BBQ place around. Hidden gem of Florham Park for sure. Probably the best chipotle chicken tacos I’ve ever had. The chicken was so tender and fresh. Peach coleslaw was sweet and surprising spicy but delicious. A definitely must try.

I wanna know how the zoning laws allowed this place in the middle of a residential area! Lol! Seriously, the food is very good, nice service. I’ve been to rib joints in Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky. This place stands up to them. Small portions and a bit pricey but very good food and nice dine in area. I work nearby and heard about it from coworkers. I never would have expected a good bbq place in Florham Park. The only other one I can think of is Hot Rods in Wharton.

Don’t be put off by thinking your GPS is sending you in the wrong direction, Oink and Moo(the restaurant) is slap in the middle of a residential area. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and its all pretty casual. Got the sliders and ribs and a couple of sides. Although the portions are not large by American standards, the food tasted great. The service was helpful and friendly. There is street parking but be considerate of the neighbours :) Had a GroupOn, which made it better value for money, without that it’s a little pricey given the portion sizes.

Loved this place. Definitely going to be one of my regular spots going forward. The BBQ was PHENOMENAL and the service was fast and friendly. Keep your eyes peeled as you look for this place as it’s in the middle of a residential neighborhood and very unsuspecting.

Nothing spectacular. Staff was not particularly nice, food was at most warm, some cold. Baby back ribs were definitely not fresh, some meat was more hard than soft. Sauce was okay, so I’m not sure what all the hype is for. Sliders were okay, though meat wasn’t really warm. Got mac and cheese as a side too, it was warm and average.

They gave me a free sliders coupon after being disappointed with my last order. Great service! I got brisket sliders(for free) which came with what looked like Carolina BBQ sauce and house coleslaw. I was very satisfied. The meat was tender and juicy, the sauce was the perfect combination between sweet and spicy, and the slaw added a nice freshness to an otherwise very dense sandwich. I’m a little surprised to say that I’m very full after two sliders. I’d be more willing to pay $ 9 for these… where else can I get good barbeque in New Jersey? I was very satisfied and will be returning soon.

Oink and Moo is set in an interesting location among homes in a residential area of Florham Park as others have noted. I found it to be clean and spacious enough inside for a groups of 4 — 6, but a bit warm for my group’s taste on one hot summer day when we went; likely because of the open kitchen design and its close proximity to the seating area. However, the latter produced a pretty spectacular aroma that hit us as soon as we entered, and the warmth inside made me think that it’s an establishment I’d like to revisit on a cold winter day… My review is based on 2 visits to Oink and Moo. I’ve had their baby back ribs(it’s a half of a rack), cornbread, coleslaw and Mac and cheese sides. Ribs were fall off the bone tender and tasty, but around $ 2 more than one would normally spend for the same. Their cornbread was tasty, but dense and very rich — shared a similar consistency to brownies(not necessarily a criticism). Coleslaw was tasty, with a bit of mustard added to it I believe. Their Mac and cheese is some of the best I’ve tasted!

3rd time’s still a charm, and today’s meal was outstanding. We had the Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla, as well as the Steak Quesedilla. They both came with some extra dipping sauces, and made the taste that much amazing. The restaurant was out of the MacnCheese, so we had the Black Bean Salad in addition to the ColeSlaw, which were both OK. Portion sizes overall were quite large, and the employees were friendly. Planning on making this a weekly lunch destination.

What an amazing hidden gem. If you’re looking for delicious BBQ right in suburban North Jersey… This is your spot! My husband and I tried out Oink and Moo one afternoon during lunch hour. We had the pulled pork tacos and the skirt steak tacos. They were bangin’!!! Albeit a little odd that this spot is in residential Florham Park… no lie on a residential street with all homes(no double yellow line here!) — I can’t wait to go back!

Great BBQ spot in the middle of the suburbs. Got the Mac n Cheese, Chili, Brisket, and Smoked Sausage. The sausage and the brisket we’re really tender and a good mix of sweet and just the right kick. Also mixed a bit of the chili on the mac n cheese.

Smokin’ in the suburbs: spicy sauce on my pulled pork, spicy coleslaw too, fast friendly service, tables inside and out, reasonable prices too. I’m a fan of the new Oink and Moo bricks-and-mortar location that’s tucked away in a dead-quiet Florham-Park neighborhood, too bad it’s only open for lunch. Didn’t quite smell the smoke when walking up bcos the smokers are around back, they’re using electric ones here and the meat was very much to my liking. Only one bbq sauce here, kind of a ketchup-y, sweetish sauce. No joy when I asked about North Carolina-style vinegar sauce or South Carolina-style mustard sauce tho. Three pulled-pork tacos were generously dressed with a hot(not sweet) sauce, chopped cabbage plus cilantro on top, 3 for $ 8 was a great meal, very fairly priced. The meat was smoky, chunks pulled off a big slab, not shredded into dust, perfect. My dining companion was delighted with her pulled-pork sliders(2 for $ 8.50 includes coleslaw on the top or side), yet peeved they didn’t throw her a handful of potato chips or something on the side. That coleslaw is excellent, chopped a bit coarsely and sauced with a respectably warm red dressing, I loved it. Vegetarian rating: 2 stars and that’s generous. The only entrée is a black bean quesadilla; veg sides are mac-and-cheese, corn bread and that spicy coleslaw. If you ask nicely you can get a personal tour by owner Josh S. of the smokers out back, three silver boxes doing their magic all day and night long, gentle but steady stream of smoke coming out the top. Nice! My fellow Unilocaler, first o-and-m reviewer Steve A. isn’t a fan, I’ll have to drag him back sometime for another chance :)

I was so hopeful for food truck BBQ! Darn it oink and mood, I know you could do better! Being a food truck, the only things the business can compete on are food and price. Well price was pretty average, $ 8 for three pulled pork tacos, but taste just left me sad. The tacos are served with pineapple salsa and chipotle cabbage. The cabbage was fresh and the pulled pork was some of the most tender I’ve ever tasted. Portion was generous with three well filled tacos, BUT where did the flavor go?! The meat was entirely bland — tender but completely and heart wrenchingly devoid of taste. The cabbage was crunchy and beautiful, but only with a slight bit of tang as if some vinegar had been splashed over it. Not sure where the pineapple salsa was at all. I asked another BBQ vendor if I could give them $ 1 for some sauce, and bless their kind heart they let me have my fill for free. Sorry oink and moo, the folks are lovely and the preparation may be almost right, but I want some flavor on my taco next time.
