We’ve never had a problem with waiting long periods in Dr. Kazdan’s office either. In fact, we’ve gone in a day before our scheduled appointment and they still saw us in under ten minutes. Dr. Kazdan is very good about trying to minimize the number of specialists that you have to see so that there are less hands in the pot, avoiding complications and miscommunication. He’s been very good about looking for answers to complications with my daughter’s chronic illnesses. He’s been one of the few to believe her, not blame her, not be intimidated by her complexity, and not discharge her from care simply because she wasn’t an easy fix.

I see Dr. Kazdan every 3 – 4 months, and I have never had the issues with punctuality that the other reviewer mentioned, with one exception – and it was because I had the wrong time recorded, and was over an hour late. I adore Dr. Kazdan. My patient visits are a discussion, rather than him playing the part of Dr. Almighty. He is a full-on quirky dude, but he knows his medicine and he is thorough. I recommend him to my friends all of the time.

I feel I shouldn’t have wait at a doctor’s office more than 15 minutes when I have an appointment. At Dr. Kazdan’s office, I usually wait at least 30 minutes in the waiting and at least another 15 minutes in the exam room before being seen. I know doctors are busy but so am I. What really burns my ass is they want you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. Screw that! I not waiting an hour to be seen. On my most recent visit, I waited 40 minutes past my appointment in the waiting room and then another 20 minutes in the exam room. While I really like Dr. Kazdan as a physician, the wait time is unacceptable. If this continues I’ll have to start looking for a new internist.
