Best chicken fried rice in north county. Panda, China King? Nope! This place is better. Sweet and sour chicken is pretty awesome also. If u want pineapple and green peppers though it’s best to order their pineapple chicken which is just like sweet and sour chicken/with pineapple. I haven’t had anything at this place that wasn’t delicious. Panda express is decent but their fried rice is just bland. A known secret of Florissant mo.

I really haven’t found many good Chinese restaurants in St Louis. I do Like several items at OSTLCS. Must haves: wonton soup, Kung pao chicken and fried rice. This is really only for carry out; you can eat there but it’s not the greatest ambience. This is definitely the best Chinese I’ve had in St. Louis.

This is my favorite Chinese food(or Chinaman) place in St. Louis. It seems to be a little more expensive than others, but the quality is worth it. I love their chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and everything else.

Review of Old St. Louis Chop Suey Do not eat at this restaurant. I ordered a whole order or fried shrimp among other things. He did not give me a receipt. When the order arrived, I checked it for accuracy and there was only half an order of fried shrimp. I went back in to talk to them about it and someone came forward to argue with me. Instead of making it right he said that I only ordered half an order or fried shrimp, and gestures toward the door for me to leave. Since he had not given me a receipt, I had to itemize the cost of all 4 items, and what I had paid, and how it could not have come to that amount if it were only half an order. When he realizes he can’t argue against my math, he changes tactics and says that I do have a whole order and again gestures towards the door. I open the box again and point to the half full box and say, «This is barely half full, it is not a whole order». At this point his English, which was reasonably easy to understand up until now, became unintelligible, and he babbled something animatedly. I told him I did not understand what he just said, and he repeated it just as unintelligibly. I then repeated my original assertion that I had paid for a whole order and this was only half an order. He babbled some more. I shook my head at him and left in disgust at his deplorable bad business tactics. Anyone with a little honor would have made good on the missing shrimp or given me three dollars difference between the cost of half an order and a whole order. He knew he was wrong and lied. First he says I only ordered half an order and then he changes it and says that my half full box is a whole order, and then becomes unintelligible when he knows I’ve got him. Furthermore there was more fried batter than there was shrimp in the order! Disgusting!
