I arrived on the morning of my move to pick up a truck I had reserved. I provided my drivers license and a credit card. Everything was good to go until the manager tried calling my telephone number to «verify» it. He received my answering machine. Strangely, I was not home to answer his call at the same time I was standing in front of him to pick up the truck. Because he could not «verify» my telephone number, he would not rent the truck to me. I will NEVER patronize a business that follows such a ridiculous practice.
