To all the building contractors out there who have not returned my calls, quoted me asinine estimates for modest jobs, and stopped coming to my house midway through projects to work on other more profitable jobs… I say see ya! I found a guy who is none of the above and I’m calling him from now on.
Jack Abel and his assistant quoted me very reasonable rates on a few construction jobs around my house. He came by and installed an outdoor railing on the day he said he would and finished the entire job… in the same day! Something that would have taken our last contractor two weeks of hemming and hawing and more cash took Jack and company exactly five hours. Not a big talker, which is music to my ears, he did a great job and did it for a good price. He’s now lined up for more jobs around the house and I expect he will do them in a timely manner. How novel, don’t you think?
So don’t anybody call this guy until I’m done with him. He’s super busy and I’m very protective… so stay clear.
