First time ordering because ive just moved to the area. This place had good review so ordered to see if this place would be the place to go for pizza… but was dissapointed. Asked for sauce on the side for wings but failed… asked for well done pizza but… failed… not well done. Guess gotta move on on the the next joint.

I had the pizza and wings here and they were fantastic. The pizza sauce is the best I’ve ever had and the wings were huge with such a nice flavor! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I called in to pick up a pizza and they told me when I got there to pick it up it was $ 6.00 MORE than the price on the menu. I asked why both menus said the lower price and he said it was a mistype. I was a little disappointed that the price had change so drastically when I wasn’t prepared to spend the extra money.

The place is amazing. I thinks it’s the only place in the area that actually cares about the product they serve. The owners Sal and Wanda keep close eye on their food and take it personally. It had to look good and taste good or they feel like they failed. However the truth is when owners care that much they don’t disappoint. Trust me. I have been going here for years and always happy with food and value. I love supporting small businesses especially ones where the owner is working. We should be spending our money at places like this where the food is made to make people happy and not to simply fill a hunger.

Absolutely amazing food! Quick and courteous delivery! Will definitely be ordering from them more often now! We decided to try them out tonight and they did not disappoint! Their Bella burger was beautifully cooked, and tastes great. The New Yorker Panini was absolutely amazing! The prices were reasonable and honestly, I would pay a ton more for that Panini if I had to! From when we ordered (on grubhub) it took only 25 – 40 minutes. The food arrived hot and smelling delicious! Thank you Bella Maria!

Cheddar cheese fries taste terrible! Cheesesteak had almost no meat to it! The lady who took my order read everything back right and when I went to pick up, they forgot the hoagie. Didn’t even write it down or have it made! Will never go back!

Pizza was excellent. We got an extra cheese pizza. The sauce was delicious. It had texture in the sauce and wasnt smooth which we really liked. Next time we head out for pizza we are heading here!

With this building cycling through owners for I-don’t-know-how-many years, it’s nice to finally get a good pizza place at this location. Bella Maria’s is a family run pizza/​Italian restaurant with very reliably good food. From the taste of it, the owners aren’t going cheapo on their ingredients, and actually know what the food is supposed to taste like.
Pizza is on point, and even the Chicago deep dish is pretty good. Sandwiches are also excellent, with the usual classics as well as some new creations on the menu.
I’d recommend that all Flourtownians get their pizza here. It’d be a shame to see the building turn over to new owners and go back to terrible food.

Nice little pizza/​restaurant in an old converted stone house.
Broccoli rabe was great… lots of garlic, as should be.
Side of sausage very good
Chicken parm was a nice portion, and tasty, served with pasta, and a nice sized side salad.
Lasagna was good and also a nice portion.
Both dishes had tons of melted mozzarella… nice
Service was good, even though they got slammed with 2 tables of 10 people, totally filling the place.
Only criticism is that for my tastes, the red sauce had too much sugar in it. I much prefer a natural tart tomato flavor. The other herbs and balance of garlic was great!
Will be back to explore more menu choices

Never had a pizza so distasteful in my life. Weird because they bought the place from Mango’s which had the best pizza around. You’d think they’d get the recipe as well. Now I go to Oreland for my pizza.

To the one star review — Suzy — I feel really bad for you! I have never had a bad burger here! They are huge, delicious and have never been undercooked for me! They have the best wings I have ever eaten — my boyfriend got them and I think i ate them all cause they were so good! And as for the pizza, its amazing! There is cheaper pizza up the street but I will NOT go anywhere else! They are the best.
The staff is always amazing, sweet, funny and accurate! They check and double check before they hand you the food. I’ve never had a problem, but im sure they would fix it right away if you did.
Even when they are busy, i don’t think i’ve ever waited more than 10−15minutes for food. Normally its closer to 5 – 10!
I love MINGOs and will always order from them!

I don’t know if we caught them on a really off night, but we won’t order from Mingo’s again. We wanted to try them out after reading the reviews here, and the menu looked pretty interesting so we ordered from there last night.
We ordered a pizza, wings, and a burger, figuring we’d see what their standard items were like.
The pizza wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything spectaular. The wings were well, slimy, and a little undercooked, and the mild sauce was far from mild.
And the burger? Raw! Not pink, RAW. We had to throw it out. I didn’t see the point in calling to complain since we didn’t want a new burger. So we just ate the pizza and called it a night.
It’s a shame really, since they had some great sounding things on the menu. But I prefer my food cooked, thanks.

Flourtown needs this place like its needs a really good pizza/​sandwich place… desperately. The menu is diverse, and exciting with not-​so-​usual choices. The French Fries are so good I just had to capitalize them; they deserve the respect they command.

OK, so I just created a Unilocal account simply to review this place. I grew up in Flourtown and frequently return. I’ve always lamented the lack of a good pizza place here, but the opening of Mingos ended that immediately. Flourtown Pizza has good steaks, but their pizza is gawd awful; Gourmet (formerly in Mingos’ building) was pretty decent but inconsistent and often limp; we won’t even talk about Pizza Hut and that Mr. P’s or whatever it is that’s new in the Genaurdi’s shopping center.
Go to Mingos. Not kidding. Ingredients are fresh, service is great, prices are extremely reasonable. And it’s BYOB. Pizza, sandwiches, salads, all great. Keep this place open, people. I love it and I want it to stick around.

If your looking for a restaurant that can satisfy the tastebuds of any family member, try this place MINGO’S they have a plethora of Delicous menu items, along with the freshest ingedients that make for an all around tasty experience. They are also a B.Y.O.B so don’t forget to bring your favorite wine or beer along for the experience.
