This place is a hit or miss when it comes to it giving you the runs. I always order a burrito bowl with chicken, black beans, brown rice, lettuce, corn, sour cream, cheese and guac but I usually end up running for a bathroom after eating it. It’s either sanitary problems or the fact that their food just sits out all day. Don’t know the obsession with it either, food is heavy and leaves me feeling like a bloated whale.

Still love this place after sooo many years. You can’t beat the quality of the food as well as their affordable prices.

I’ll make this review relatively short. I love Chipotle in general. I like this location in particular because they always give huge portions and fill their bowls up to the brim. I usually get a steak bowl to-go for lunch and am always impressed at how consistent they are in cooking their meats to perfection. Barbacoa meat is very flavorful and never dry as well. I will say that unlike most restaurants, lunch and dinner crowds are quite unpredictable. Sometimes I will come in at 12:20 pm and there is a line almost to the door. Other days I’ll come in at the exact same time and there is no one in line. If you do catch the lunch or dinner crowd and still need your Mexican fix, there is a Mi Cocina right next to Chipotle. I go there on a regular basis and the employees know my order by heart; steak bowl to-go with lots of white rice, little bit of black beans, Pico de Gallo, corn salsa, and extra sour cream. On occasion I get it on the house, I guess for my loyalty? It irks me that there is such limited seating inside, and although they have outside umbrella seating, I’m not a fan of roasting out in the 100 degree Texas heat! Also love their guacamole and lime salted tortilla chips! Overall great location, just be aware of the crazy drivers in that area. After all, it is Highland Village and for some reason these rich yuppies think they’re better than everyone else.
