Stein Mart

I agree with the previous reviewer on the poor customer service. I like Stein Mart but this particular store makes me cringe. On the floor the employees are so busy moving items around and putting things back that they bump into and run circles around you like you are in their way. I came out of a fitting room with apparently too many items and this older lady went off on me very loudly. She scolded me to bringing in too many items. Sorry lady but had you been in here when I walked in and let me know that, I would have followed your insulting rules. And yes there is a sign up about how many items are allowed but I did not see it and from the looks of the other ladies in there, who were NOT scolded, no one sees the sign. Dont get mad at me cause you have to put things back now. On another occassion, I got an email that a particular band was on sale the day after I purchsed the item. I brought back in my item for a credit and without even looking at my reciept the lady says «if if was not on sale yesterday, it is not on sale toda». Really??? I then told her I received an email that stated that it is on sale. She then says «the email really does not matter as that brand never goes on sale.» WOW??? Needless to say I spoke to a more customer focused person who looked at the email on my phone and agreed that they owed me a refund. Then the lady who told me no in the first place complained to me at the register that she did not know how to do the transation. I just stood there with her complaining until she figured it out. I guess I will stick to the Frisco location as these employees are better.

Rude, unhelpful customer service. Poor selection of sizes. Pass!
