DP General Cleaning Landscaping & Tree Services, LLC

I found this landscaping company on HomeAdvisor and hired them to remove some bushes from my yard. LIke several other reviews have stated, they came to my home unannounced when I was not home to examine the property and provide a quote. I ultimately hired them anyway. They then arrived a day before scheduled when I was not home to complete the work. They partially completed the work in my yard and cut down several trees in my neighbor’s yard! The neighbor came out to stop them and ask them to leave.
The next day they came back to finish the work on my yard with no apology for cutting down my neighbor’s trees. They completed the removal of the bushes but left me with giant piles of dirt in my yard and quite a mess to clean up — despite the contract clearly including clean up. When I questioned Daniel, the owner, he spent 10 mins+ berating me on the phone for «stealing» from his company and «taking advantage» of him because I would not pay for the work they did removing trees on my neighbors property! He wouldn’t allow me to get a word in and berated me until I was in tears and had to hang up. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect by a business owner. I am also now left open to a potential lawsuit from the neighbors whose trees they cut down! WORST EXPERIENCE!

Yesterday I contacted several companies to get a quote to take down a small tree behind my house. Most companies emailed or called to set up a time to come by for a free estimate. Today, without warning, DP General Cleaning Landscaping WENT TO MY HOUSE AND INTO MY BACK YARD without my permission while no one was home and quoted me $ 1700 for what I am assuming is one of the many large trees in my backyard. I understand that business is competitive, and you want to show interest to get the job, but trespassing and sending me an outrageous invoice with no context is unprofessional. I will be going with another company.

My real estate must have been drunk when evaluating the cost of insurance and passed right by this set of 40 ft. trees, some of them leaning towards my house, and the others towards the neighbors house.
Once again, DP General Cleaning comes right in, gets their job done quickly and are out. This time I had 4 large trees that were intertwined and the carpenter ants loved the hang out. There was also another tree leaning towards my neighbor’s house.
These guys came in prepared, did some other trimming that was needed on the other side of my house, without any extra cost. They cut the tree (s) done, stumps dug out and left the lawn looking like it did when they came in, other than the view of other trees.
$ 800 for 5 trees, removal of stump and excellent customer service.
