The restaurant has new owners and is now Si Fu Ginger though the old Golden Jar sign is still up. The inside has been completely remodeled and has a chef from Hong Kong and another from China. The food was fresh and delicious! This is a must try and I am glad we stopped in. I posted some pictures of things we ate.

I’m a bit disappointed by all the negative reviews of this place. Granted, I’ve never been inside but when I want Chinese Delivery, THIS is the place to call. The chicken is never rubbery, chewy, or hard but always cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The Cheese Wontons are always loaded and the filling is delicious. Even the shrimp tastes higher quality than what you would usually get at a Chinese restaurant. The rice soft and fresh! Delivery is always here in 30 minutes or less and the food is always hot! Definitely recommended!

Oh dear! Awful would be a kind word. We should have been put on notice when we saw the dirty aquarium in the lobby. The water was ssssooo green I don’t know how the fish lived in it. Asked the waitress to wipe down our sticky table, she brought us paper towels to go over the table! Chicken dishes(Mongolian and cashew nut) were both like rubber. Our advice is just keep on going past this place! :(

The food is awful. The beef was chewy and gross. The chicken was bad too. They use the lowest quality meat available. I do not recommend eating here.

Ehhhhhhh. Average Chinese. Nothing special here. Tried a variety of stuff nothing wowed me. The wontons had little to no meat, the egg rolls were small and frozen.

Hmmm, when you think crab rangoon, do you think onions and cream cheese? Apparently the chef at Golden Jar does. I hate to write negative reviews, but I like to write honest ones and here’s the deal. My 15 year old ordered Sesame Chicken, easiest most cliché«Chinese» in the world, right? It was gross. Spongy, fatty, chicken on stale day old rice. They should literally call it that on the menu because that’s a better description than«Sesame Chicken.» All I ate was an egg roll and the aforementioned crab rangoon, both underwhelming at best. Last but not least, the dweeb behind the counter overcharged my card by TENDOLLARS. When I checked my online statement and called the restaurant to complain, the worker on the other end blamed the«new guy» and offered me a refund if I would come back in. I’ve been overcharged before and had the charge reversed with no card present over the phone and without giving out my card number. I live 30 miles away so they made an extra $ 10 that day. I hope it was worth it…
