I love how the site is laid out, much more organized than Kroger or Publix. Makes it really easy to find what you’re looking for. Great customer service, very clean, and awesome gas point discount program.

These folks always go out of their way for you. Michael, the butcher will always take care in your meats. Amanda, the cashier is a great friend, and Chad, the assistant manager, is always there to make things right.

Clean bright wide aisles, like new store, exceedingly helpful employees, & unique amenities(such as a self-serve-by-the-pound salad bar) separate this Ingle’s from it’s better known competitors in the area. It boasts a pharmacy, fresh baked muffin area, video store, tobacco shop and well stocked wine area. It’s never very crowded and the shelves are arraigned in neat rows of product. It I was just grading the shopping experience, then this place would earn five solid stars. But there’s more to a store than experience… the quality of the produce was below average on certain speciality items(such as avocados). The avocados on multiple occasions were well past ripe, in fact many of them were so rotten I was shocked they remained on display. If that would’ve been a one time occurrence, I would let it slide, but it has happened multiple times. Although I’m not sure, the prices seem slightly higher than Kroger down the street. Additionally the fried chicken in the deli section was bland and tasteless. You can certainly do better going down the road for the cooked items(may I recommend Publix for those items). Overall I really like shopping here.

I could write a very long and detailed review here but I’m going to keep it short and sweet. The manager of this store would rather collect a penny from an overrun on the gas pump than retain a very good customer. I just hope that penny helps to sustain this place over the next few months. Where did these people learn their customer service strategies? We’re finished here. We have spent thousands of dollars at this place — and they lost us over a penny. One cent. I guess the economic conditions don’t affect Ingles. They must have more customers than they need or want.
