Great find! We decided to try this place after KeZhang raised their squid skewers from $ 2 to $ 3 a piece. Wow that’s a whole dollar more for a skewer. We decided not to get it and went to Beijing instead. We got bunch of squids and beefs. Only $ 1.25 for squid. Overall the food is great and delicious. It will be our new spot for skewers now.

Opened until 4am… amazing spot… People are asking for too much from a place meant for people who need a spot to sober out. Prices are cheaper than most other spots. They have always had everything on their menu. BBQ grille is out in the open and the soup kitchen where they make everything else is in the back. It gets a little smokey inside but again not asking for a miracle. It is a «stick» place indoors again, and there are seats. People need to understand this is not meant to be a Michelin star restaurant. I am extremely satisfied. I found myself a new stick spot.

Awesome Chinese BBQ skewer place! They have a great selection including deer meat. Small inside seating, but at least their is seating compared to the usual BBQ skewer carts around Flushing. Very smokey and perfectly BBQ’d skewers. Love their squid and lamb skewers. Careful, the Beijing style can be a bit spicy. They also have other good things like lamb soup and onion pancakes.

Pretty good bbq skewer place. They have everything: beef, lamb, chicken, gizzards, man tao, squid, and on and on. Some sodas. It’s BYOB! There are a few tables, so get there early! Actually, out of everything they offer here, I like their dumplings the most. I know it’s a skewers place… Note: You will smell like barbecue by the end of the night. Note 2: They speak Mandarin.

TLDR; Save yourself the trouble and go to the lamb place with skewers on Union street instead. I drive by this place sometimes and I always see lots of people outside at night, naturally I would think this place is worth going to. Going in there was a difference experience however. At first glance, the place is gloomy and dark, not that romantic kind of dark. When the waitress walked us to the table, she pushed past me to get to the table first to put the menu(you order by writing down how many skewers you want) down on the table, which was a bit odd. If you want to put down any order, you need to yell out something to her so she will notice because she would not glance around the restaurant to see if customers need anything(They suggest 15% tips, ha.) Okay the important stuff, the food. We got to try out the lamb, beef tendon, snails, mushrooms, seafood, veggies, and… banana(it sounded good when we were looking at it…) Let me first say the food here is NOT fresh at all. The tendons were not bouncy(at were a bit sour. it went bad), the veggies were a mess, seafood were pulpy texture when we bit into it(both squid and shrimp, a sign that the seafood has been left in the fridge for wayyy too long). When we wanted to leave this place already and got the check, we found out they don’t accept mastercard :(. I would never come back to this place because the food was terrible and there were no service. Do yourself a favor and find the specialty lamb place on Union st. Its a lot more yummy, comfy, and all for the same price.

this is my preferred placed to go for late night sit down chinese bbq. the service is terrific and fast food is good. try the lamb wonton soup. cleanliness could be better but that doesn’t really bother me.

Pretty authentic! Very friendly staff and good food! The biggest upside is it being an actual store than a food stand. Although non of the staff sound like from Beijing but since their skewers are good I’ll let it pass. The yang za soup is too peppery and a lot of the traditional lamb intestine are missing. Mostly only liver and lung but still acceptable! Would recommend!
