Not only does Browny have exceptional service, their coffee is one of the best quality tasting coffees I’ve ever had. I’m amazed by how well the employees conduct themselves. They were polite, charming, and attentive. The cappuccino I received was created excellently(and quickly which was perfect). I will definitely be coming back. I really appreciated the fine hospitality they have at this establishment.

Less than mediocre coffee. Such a waste of thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Waste of quality coffee beans. You guys make brooklyn roasting company look like shit. Please hire actual baristas. Have some respect for the people who grow, roast and consume coffee. Also, use local milk. It tastes so much better. But considering you guys burn the shit out of the milk, dont make the switch until you hire baristas that actually know what they are doing. Again, a total waste of over $ 10,000 worth of coffee equipment.

Coffee enthusiasts beware. If you are looking for good craft coffee, Browny is not the place. This café would probably only be good for studying and grabbing donuts. As a coffee shop with beautiful expensive equipment, they do not serve Brooklyn roasting company any justice. Not to mention it took two people, at snail pace, to pump out a drip coffee and horrible cappuccino in 5 minutes… and I got the drip second. What I really want to say is that, with a great location, beautiful décor, WiFi, and good donuts, this coffee shop would be great if they ACTUALLYHIREDBARISTAS. If I wanted shitty coffee, Starbucks could get me my drinks 10 times faster.

I think their service is good. I try to love this place every time I come but something’s just off. Their coffee is mediocre, donuts are so-so, there’s not a lot of choices to choose from, and hot chocolate is way too strong. The seating area upstairs reminds me of my grandmother’s basement despite the wide array of art. I like how clean this place is though. It’s nice that they have wi-fi and good seating areas.

For my first time ordering and eating inside Browny, I have no complaints. I appreciated that one of the staff workers greeted me as I walked in the door. I think it was great that they had a tray of free samples(of their pastries) on the counter. When I saw that they ran out of their Silver Moon tea, the staff worker helpfully pointed out that the Earl Grey was their 2nd most popular choice, which I went with. My croissant was fresh, chewy, and flaky, just the way it’s supposed to be. I think having two bathrooms was a great call, and I was pleased to discover that they clean everything in their bathrooms every two hours, so they’re super clean. In terms of their music, Browny plays some really solid classics– Mr. Brightside, Lloyd’s Southside, Blink 182’s All the Small Things, for example.

This place is big, the décor is minimal with contemporary/pop art on their stark white walls, they mixed modern and homey furniture that makes it somewhat«cozy» as some of my friends put it. I thought there was something very sterile about the place… but that may just be me. Anyway, they get their coffee from Brooklyn Roasting Company. They also get their pastries from Juniors, Balthazar and Dough Donuts. I’m glad they are a supporter of various local businesses. However, I was pretty disappointed when I found out that they didn’t offer different milk options like soy or almond milk. This is pretty standard now at most cafes. They also don’t have any non-caffeinated teas. They are completely expelling an entire demographic of people who are lactose/caffeine intolerant… I’m a fan of this place, and it has a lot of potential, but only if they continue to make improvements, which I hope they do.

Stumbled upon this café today and am I glad I did. I finally found a place in Queens that sells donuts from Dough! Omg if you haven’t tried them, you have to or else you will never understand how a real donut tastes like lol. That’s probably an exaggeration but they really are amazing. I think this café is relatively new, they have a good amount of very comfortable seating and their layout reminds me of bean and bean, which is a few blocks down from here. Décor can be improved on though… those huge paintings of Rihanna and Brad Pitt are a little strange… I ordered a latte and asked for it to be flavored but the barista told me that customers usually flavor their own lattes. I thought that was unconventional but interesting. They have two options: vanilla and caramel and you can just literally add as many pumps of either to your drink as you like. The quality of the latte was okay, I was not amazed but I would definitely come back for the donuts, especially since I don’t have to trek all the way to the city to find them!

DOUGHDOUGHNUTS! I no longer have to trek to Brooklyn for these babies. Love everything about Browny– free wifi, reasonable prices, music isn’t too loud, clean, interior is nice, and it isn’t crowded. but I assume everyone will start flocking to Browny very soon :(good spot to catch up or study.

The guy working behind the counter was pretty rude and didn’t know anything about their own menu; their coffee was just okay. The three stars are for the nice interior/seating and their doughnuts which are from Dough!

Overall a good addition to the neighborhood. Coffee is good, service is great. Spacious interior perfect for meeting with friends. Only vice is that they add WAY too much ice to their iced coffees— that dilutes it to almost water. Altogether not a bad place to spend your money!

Great spot in Bayside. You can get donuts from Dough BK, croissants from Balthazar and coffee from Brooklyn Roasting company.

Hipster this and hipster that. Comfy couch, cool. Coffee — meh. Price for said coffee — lil too much. Rather just go to Starbucks, or if I want the whole«experience», there’s other coffee houses that excel.

My order was taken by a respectable and well spoken cashier. The coffee was made perfectly. The temperature felt like a warm hug, the milk to espresso ratio was fabulously proportionate. Don’t let me forget how polite the both of these employees were. Their hospitality was greatly acknowledged by my five dollar tip. I would definitely come here to show off my new favorite neighborhood café with a group of friends. P. S. Just incase you aren’t a coffee lover they have amazing baked goods and a wide variety of chilled drinks. Their doughnut menu accommodates for anyone and everyone’s taste pallet. The croissants, Danishes, and scones are the airy, flakey, and delicious. Not to mention they have Junior’s Cheesecakes! That right there is an invitation for everyone to walk into this fine establishment and treat yourself to the amazing customer service, delicious beverages, and mouth watering baked goods. I rate this place an 11⁄10.

New café is always good! It’s right on northern, close to many restaurants and a Chase bank right across the café! Haha Likes: 1. Wifi is free and works really well. Never had a problem with it. 2. Coffee is from Brooklyn Roasting Company, doughnuts are from DoughDoughnuts, cheesecakes from Junior’s! 3. The baristas are welcoming and very patient. 4. It not crowded until later in the afternoon. 5. Upstairs, where the couches are, there is an outlet by every couch which is SUPER convenient. There is an exit upstairs. So when I’ve been sitting there for hours and need to rest, I just step outside really quick and get some fresh air. 7. It’s pretty quiet throughout the café and the music isn’t very loud either. 8. Décor is very simple. The café is decorated with paintings everywhere and the lighting is perfect for work. Dislikes: 1. They DONOT have simple syrup :((which really sucks because my latte feels incomplete without it. 2. They are still under«inspection» so the desserts(doughnuts, croissants, etc.) they have will not be heated :’(

Great coffee and nice atmosphere. Feels like one of those hip coffee shops at recently gentrified neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Very comfy sofas. Great wall paintings.

This place is definitely unique and different than the usual bakery/café you will find on northern blvd. It has a brooklyn/city vibe that you won’t find anywhere in the Queens area. I tried the affogato and it’s delish! I highly recommend to drop by if your in the area for dessert or even just grab a coffee and relax on their comfortable couches w/free wifi to top it off! AWESOME!

I’ve been watching Browny come to fruition over the past month and have been highly anticipating visiting. The décor is modern, clean– high ceilings, soft lighting, white marble, tile and glass with a beautifully rustic knotted wood communal table. A few casual two-tops are nestled behind the island counter and above the steps lies a cozy lounging alcove complete with a signature couch à la Central Perk. Browny proudly serves up local beans from the Brooklyn Roasting Company and boasts mini Junior’s cheesecakes as well as a wide selection of patisseries and viennoiseries which I believe to be sourced from the well-known city staple Balthazar(correct me if I’m wrong!). My boyfriend and I were warmly greeted by the counter girl and barista upon entering. We ordered two americanos and a sticky bun to-go and were served quickly within 3 minutes. They might have been out of pastry bags, as we were handed our bun in bakery tissue, but that’s a small detail that can be overlooked. We were on the go, and since the Q12/Q13 bus stop is so conveniently located right outside the glass windows of the café, we were able to catch our bus in time while enjoying ourselves to the very last second. At my next visit, I look forward to spending an afternoon catching up on work over a well-crafted latte served in a nice ceramic bowl(yes they do have wi-fi, and yes you can order to stay). This café is a much needed breath of fresh air and stands apart from other more corporate concepts that flood the Flushing area such as Tous les Jours, Paris Baguette, and the nearby standalone Café Bench. Bookmark this place now and make it your new neighborhood haunt.
