Daily Waffle

Definitely an experience going to the Daily Waffle. Let me say right off, the food I would give 3.5 stars, but the combination of service, food and genuinely great people make it 5 stars. Don’t be turned off because it’s inside a furniture store. I walked by twice just to make sure it was the right place. Do yourself a favor and go in.
Ana took our order and she was the nicest person in the world. I ordered the Chicken Waffle Sandwich and my wife tried the Hawaiian Waffle. Both were delicious. The waffle is crispy on the outside but still moist enough on the inside. The chicken was like a cafeteria chicken patty, but still tasty. The Hawaiian Waffle was covered in banana slices, nuts, and syrup. A little too sweet for breakfast, I think it would make a great dessert though. Overall I was very satisfied with our meal.
Once we were done, Hank the owner took our plates and we chatted a bit about their business. We talked about how they started and he welcomed our feedback. Plus he’s got the biggest and warmest smile ever. I truly wish them the best of luck in their venture. Everybody please go support them!

Okiee so this is the first time I ever done a review but heck it’s worth a try ^^ my friend told me about this waffle place which he found on Unilocal while exploring new areas to give a try, he suggested we go to give it a try and because I’m open minded I said let’s do it so we did. We went by car so it only took us like 30 mins from where we were to get there besides the traffic but it’s all good waffles must be in my tummy.
Once we got there we looked for the place although he was confused and couldn’t find it, I with my big eyes of hunger found the place it’s inside a furniture store so it might be hard to find, but keep your eyes open I did spot the daily waffle sign so I knew we were there the sign is also on the door so don’t panic if anything goes wrong you can always call to find out the location, but for any animé guyz or girls who go to animé castle or go to flushing high-​school it’s like 2 block after and you find it hope I said that right ^^
Anyways now to talk about daily waffles first off I have to say Anna is so sweet and always smiling which is awesome, I like that because it shows how she appreciate you coming in, a nice hello and all so sweet, me and my friend were undecided to what to order but looking through the menu he knew what he wanted and so did I.
I picked the ham and cheese waffle and my friend picked a waffle dog and a coffee and a hot chocolate nom we waited for our food to be ready so we took a seat, normally we thought we had to get up and pick our food once it’s done but Ana was so kind to serve our food at our table so thank you Ana ^^ as for Hank he was so kind as well he recommended my friend to try the waffle dog with a hint of spice at first my friend was scared because he doesn’t like spicy sauces but he gave it a try and let Hank put some on, haha my friend eyes got so open not because it was hot or anything because he was amazed on how good it was he truly enjoy every moment of taste, as for me the waffle with ham and cheese omg so delicious and yummy although it was a bit big for my mouth but I still bite it, it was truly amazing also gave the waffle dog a bite so wow yummyness
In all the experience was truly awesome the owners are so kind and the service is lovely I can see that this business can grow and succeed with their awesome food creations it be worth giving it a try and tasting, don’t be afraid to explore new things because if you don’t try you will never know how good it can be, so everyone or whoever reads this review trust me it’s worth giving it a try especially because the menu set up to be for breakfest eaters but anytime is good too so enjoy it and let your taste buds decide for you oooo before I forget the prices in the menu are pretty good meaning they are good pricing not to expensive just the right amount so that’s kool too ^^

Everyone should try this place at least once.

The most inconspicuous store you will ever pass by! Blink and you might miss it, especially if you’re driving. After getting a haircut and walking home through mountains of snow (thanks Jonas!) I happened to pass by this little sign for waffles that I had always seen but never paid attention to. But, being cold and having missed breakfast, I decided to go in and see if I could get something good to warm me up. It’s a real mom and pop shop, run by a very welcoming and gracious husband/​wife team.
Got the banana/​nutella waffle for $ 4 and it was so good and warm and filling! Food was great and they were literally the nicest people you will ever run into — that alone will probably get make me a regular there.

The best service! First I have to highlight the owners (the sweetest couple) the miler parking wasn’t working and one of the owner went to give me the miler ticket for my car because I was with my baby. The best costumer service, the food is delicious, I love the chicken waffles and Handmade soda sugar free. They also gave us natural soy bean tea… I will definitely come back!

Pretty much the best customer service in America and genuinely kind people I have ever met. I really not only love their amazingly fresh variety of sweet and savory style waffles but the calm friendly quaint place. You might have missed this location walking by. It’s between Dunkin’ Donuts on the corner and Crystal cleaners a couple doors in the other direction.
I ordered the chicken waffle and the honey waffle with condensed milk.
Also got the honey green tea with boba. Everything was delicious.
If you’re undecided on drinks, ask for the fresh hot soy milk sweetened to taste to warm you up on a cold Winter day.
There is muni meter street parking and also free parking down the residential side of 34^th Ave and 33^rd Ave if you’re willing to walk a block or two.
If you’re undecided about this place give it a try you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back soon to try more fresh waffles.

A really great place. The owners are so friendly and the food was so good!!! Cant wait to see what they do with the place. I cant wait to come back. Amazing people who deserve every bit of success!

When I took the first bite of the Fruit Waffle, it was heaven! I am definitely coming back here for more. The place may be small, but the staff are very friendly.

This rating is between 3 and 4 stars. I would want to give it another try and hopefully change it to 4 stars.

The place is small and it almost feels like it’s part of the furniture store but it’s flushing so I’m sure rent is expensive.
Let’s talk about food now. We ordered the breakfast waffle, the chicken waffle, the waffle dog, and coffee.
The breakfast waffle looked great but the egg on top was not runny! I’m not sure if it was supposed to or not but runny yolk is ALWAYS better! Waffles are usually dry so a runny yolk would sold that problem. We ordered to go so maybe it was cooked on the way home. This is why I would give it another try and hopefully be able to eat in.
The chicken waffle was a little disappointing. I was expecting coleslaw when I saw the cabbage but it was just cabbage! There was no flavor and no sauce, just Plain cabbage. The fried chicken… I’m not really sure if it was chicken. It tasted like processed meat and artificial. It’s like fishball if you know what I mean. The entire sandwich was just dry.
The waffle dog was just like a corn dog but a little lighter. Not impressed at all. It would be better if it came with a dipping sauce or something.
Lastly, the coffee was just average.
I would go back again and eat in to see if it’s any different.

We woke up on a Saturday morning asking each other, «what do you want for breakfast?»
The Asian breakfasts in Flushing has been done so many times. It was time for change.
«Search ‘breakfast’ in Unilocal,» my wife told me.
Daily Waffle… interesting… 0.8 miles away. We decided to trek out of our normal spots to try something different.
As we approached the address, there was a bit of confusion as to why the address was actually a furniture store. The confusion was cleared when we learned the waffle spot was subleased by the furniture store.
We got the regular waffle with condensed milk, chicken waffle sandwich, and a taro bubble tea. The food was good and the owners, Hank and Anna, were very friendly.
We dubbed Hank as the «Voice of God» as he often heard responding to customers and his wife from behind a the wall.
The husband wife duo came up with their own recipe for the waffle and are willing to welcome any suggestions.
It’s a small spot with limited seating provided by the furniture store. It’s meant to be taken out but I’m glad we stayed as we struck up a conversation with the owners with a really nice story.
We will definitely come back and see how they improve and grow and hope to see their own store closer to a busier area real soon!

Need no say more about the nice owners of the place… I found this place on Unilocal while looking for sandwiches and I am so glad I did… Waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside… Nom, nom… We devoured them between 2 ½ ppl (counting our toddler).
We got four waffles: Waffle dog, Ham and Cheese waffle, White chocolate waffle, and Nutella and banana waffle. They were all to die for… Our toddler didn’t want to share his waffle… Lol
We would have gotten another waffle had we not been too full.
We also got a green tea latte, which I liked and two other honey teas… We will definitely be back when we our in town.

Me and a friend were looking for a chicken and waffle place on Unilocal and found this gem. We both tried the chicken waffle sandwich. One word — AMAZING! The waffles were crispy on the outside, deliciously soft on the inside. Also had chicken Cole slay and a sweet and spicy sauce. Soooo good! We had the Raspberry spritzer. Also helped that the owners Frank & Ana were super sweet and nice. And genuinely wanted out opinion and asked for feedback. Definitely will be back for more. I want to try everything! It also helps that there is a reward system as well. Love this place!

My boyfriend happened to notice this cute little waffle shop while running out to get OJ for me one day. We decided to try them out for breakfast. The owners, Hank and Anna are so nice and personable! They both got tired of the corporate life, and wanted to spend more time together as husband and wife. What better way than to leave their old desk jobs and open up a waffle shop together?!?
These waffles, let me tell you, are not pre-​packaged, boxed or frozen. They were carefully created after Hank and Anna spent night after night developing the recipe and it shows! I decided to order the breakfast waffle, which is normally bacon crumbles, egg and maple syrup on top of a freshly made waffle. I asked if it was possible to substitute the bacon for ham instead and they did it no problem! It was so good and filling. My boyfriend decided on the honey glazed pork waffle sandwich, which they only had a limited amount of. Turns out it was the last one! Holy moly, this was a HUGE waffle sandwich. Hank warned us, but it was still bigger than we expected. The bf couldn’t finish it! It was a layer of chasiu roast pork on top of slaw and drizzled over with siracha and honey maple syrup, sandwiched between two thick pieces of waffle cakes. YUM. My only tiny negative was that the waffles had cooled by the time we dug into them. That didn’t stop me from devouring mine though! =D
Almost forgot, their coffee here is delicious! I ordered the mocha coffee which was freshly made. Not watered down and they do not reuse the ground coffee beans! I’m no coffee expert but I do drink coffee everyday and this cup of joe was definitely better than the crap sold at the big name store down the corner!
Can’t wait to go back to Daily Waffle!

The owners, Anna and Hank are very thoughtful about their products and open to constructive criticism. They take their work seriously, which is reflected in the quality food that they serve.
I came back here on Wednesday for breakfast, and was excited to try the original Waffle Dog without the spiciness. It tasted just as good as it did in the beginning. The sweetness of the syrup and waffle meshed well with the meaty flavors of the dog. I was recommended by Anna to try the Green Tea latte, which was invigorating for a sleepyhead like me. The taste was exactly like real Green Tea matcha! The top layer could be a little more foamy, though. I was offered the waffle dog and green tea latte on the house, but I refused because this place has so much potential and I wanted to take part in its growth through my purchase. I can’t wait to come back here again!

The Daily Waffle is a quaint store tucked in a relatively quiet part of Flushing on Northern Blvd. Although there isn’t much customer traffic, this business has a lot of potential and I can envision it becoming a chain as successful as Waffles & Dinges in the near future. Prices are cheap and the waffles taste wonderful. I got the waffle dog, a unique hybrid of a hotdog and a regular waffle ($ 3). There is the option of getting it spicy, which I do not recommend (it’s simply Sriracha drizzled on top) because the spiciness is overpowering and distracts from the wonderful combination of the maple syrup, the waffle layer, and the sausage. I felt that the waffle layer could have been more thicker and a little softer, like a cloud. The cashier and chef were really welcoming and open to constructive criticism and it’s not everyday that you get to experience that kind of situation in other businesses. The only thing holding me back from giving this review a 5-​star was the Sriracha. Other than that, I can’t wait to come back here to try the other items on the menu!

I got a Ice cream waffle that comes with Nutella and it was delicious. It was just a bit hard to cut through since the plate was small but waffle was AMAZING!

My first visit here today after looking at reviews from Unilocal.I had a good experience, its a couple that owns this little place. Since this is new, its quite small. Daily Waffles stoee is actually connected to some furnture company, so they share a store. But when you walk in, they’ll be there right in front of the door.
Atmosphere: They decorated their little place with cute decorations and drawings. They also have am adorable menu too.
Food: Ordered a Waffle Dog as well as a Ham & Cheese Waffle, I really liked the waffle dog. It was a combination of sweet and spicy. They even offered me soy bean milk, on the house!
They also have a loyalty card where if you buy I believe, 9 or 10 waffles, you get one free! Will definitely go back to try their sweet waffles one day!

Came here for the first time today and we were welcomed with a very warm hello by a couple. Their location is very interesting. Located on union street, a few minute walk from Main Street flushing in a furniture store. They don’t have any banner or awnings with their name. Just a chalkboard outside which makes searching for this place a little difficult. But once you get in, you will always be welcomed and greeted with a very nice hello.
We got the chicken waffle sandwich which was very good. A chicken cutlet with some cabbage, maple syrup, and a splash of siracha sauce, sandwiched between two waffles. Definitely on point!
Also got the waffle dog which was simply amazing! A hotdog wrapped with their waffle is simple and different but most importantly really good. Definitely a must try. Never seen or tasted anything like it before. A great combination of salty and sweet.
The couple were also nice enough to have us try just the plain waffle which was do sweet of them. And just the plain waffle is nothing like I’ve ever tasted. I will never step inside an ihop ever again as long as this place is open! What makes their waffle so good is that they use their own homemade batter! It has a very nice texture and taste. The plain waffle is also drizzled with the perfect amount of maple syrup and then sprinkled with a little powdered sugar which is definitely the perfect way to top it off.
This place is such a great place! Thank you Hank and Anna for your warm hospitality! You can definitely expect us to be back! You now have two more regulars.

I was walking down the block while it was drizzling and had to stop to check out this spot that caught my eye. I was looking at it from the outside and the people inside invited me in. Not for nothing, but I am one of the minorities in this town, and that was pretty awesome. They even offered me a taste for free.
The place is inside a furniture store. Little bit out of place, but in my mind that’s how I knew it was authentic. I immediately sold out for the waffle dog, which they claim to be the first of the New York City. They also topped it with a sweet and spicy syrup. Dude, awesome. $ 3 well spent.
Turns out the place is new in town as well. I’ll be heading back soon enough!
SECOND VISIT
Stopped in today to try something new, and was pleased to see they added some seating and cleared out some space in the front. I was warmly greeted again and this time went for a fruit waffle and some bubble tea with mango boba. I came on at the right time because shortly after the line grew nicely.
The food was on point and it was nice to get a bite here again!

New waffle place that you must try! I’ve tried their Hawaiian waffle, fruit waffle and the plain waffle with cinnamon maple syrup– you can’t go wrong with any of their waffles! Their waffles are freshly made to order and are the perfect texture. Excellent breakfast alternative if you’re too tired to walk to Main Street!
Also! Hank and Anna provide superior customer service– you’ll always leave smiling! =)
