Dairy Queen

Came in here looking for something to cool off with. Manager named Michael suggested a peanut butter cookie dough smash blizzard saying that was his favorite. I tried it and now I’m sold. I’ll definitely be back. He was very patient with me since this was my first time in a Dairy Queen and offered me deals on food but that’s when I told him I wanted some ice cream only and he gave me the suggestion. Places need more people like him. Keep up the good work.

something different in queens. much needed place where all you see is mcdonalds and burger King. prefer DQ to any of those places

In response to the comment from the manager: my visit was April 17^th in the evening. I sent a complaint to DQ headquarters to ensure my experience has been noted. I know I won’t be returning until I know the service has improved.

Friendly staff, i really love going here their blizzards are amazing & perfect tasting burgers.

i was craving a shake so i rushed after work to make it before 10:30 (because Google said they closed at that time)
i got to the store and opened (after reading the paper planted on the door that said they close at 10:30) only to have the associates in the back give me a thumbs down and tell me that they close at 10.
irritated i told them to change the sign on the door and they just laughed it off.
so i hopped on here to write this quality review only to read in red on the side «closes in 31 minutes»
i’m all for trying to close up shop early and get home but we all know what it’s like to rush for something you’re badly craving for.
the internet doesn’t give you much space to be slick about closing times nowadays. just saying.

I order an Avengers icecream cake which was 4hrs late than for when I asked it to be ready then when I received my cake it look so tacky no where near like the picture, also the cake was melting when I got to the party (15min) at the party when I went to serve it the cake was literally only soft serve ice cream cake and not the flavor I order ! So unorganized I couldn’t even believe they can sell something like that !

This place is so bad. The staff is ghetto and unprofessional. I remember the first day they opened, one of the cashiers was about to fight the other cashier, she was yelling «I’m from the hood you don’t know me… Etc.» And today I ordered a pumpkin pie blizzard, I asked for «extra stuff» and the cashier looked at me like «Extra stuff? What dat iz Õ.o?» Then I said nevermind, so after waiting for like 30 mins… Another employee comes up to me telling me they don’t have a can opener so they can’t make a pumpkin pie blizzard (I was internally laughing in amazement) and she asked me if I wanted something else… I ended up getting a mediocre caramel salted blizzard after having waited like an hour. Absolutely rediculous! This place posts their «good» reviews but fails to post their bad reviews on the wall. Try to post this one Dairy Queen @ Junction Blvd, I dare you. Let them know the real you!

Five stars because the customer service is amazing! Olga is very helpful and friendly. This was my first time and won’t be my last! Hard to believe the great customer service you receive when going to a fast food chain. I decided to order my nephew’s cake here as well. I saw that they didn’t have a specific design I wanted so instead Olga took the time to show me from her phone different designs that they can place on cake. Cake turned out great as well.

Dairy Queen is not just a fast food chain, its a fusion of a diner experience with a fast food store’s speed and price. Honestly at first I was a little confused as to why there was a Burger King, Checkers, McDonalds, and Dairy Queen all located within walking distance of each other. I am not sure about the other fast food chains, but I am convinced of the logic behind why Dairy Queen thought it could beat out the competition.
The man behind the counter was very accommodating as I placed my order. It turns out that the staff here delivers the food to you at your seat. With the service already earning five stars for a fast food place, next I began to analyze the food. The $ 5 deluxe cheeseburger lunch set came with a voluptuous cheeseburger stuffed with a thick patty and onions, lettuce and tomatoes, a small order of fries, a medium drink, and a sundae. The burger could easily compete with any diner burger and arguably overshadow any McDonalds burger, at the same price, in terms of flavor. The fries came a little plain, but that issue was easily resolved with a dash of salt and pepper. Lastly, the strawberry sundae was very sweet and delicious. The ice cream sat a little heavy after such a filling meal, but the minor inconvenience was easily overturned by the immediate satisfaction I received from the taste.
After wiping my hands with some nice quality diner style napkins, I wasn’t sure if I was suppose to leave a tip or not, though I saw other people not leaving tips so I followed suit, as this place was as close to pseudo-​dining experience as can be. If you are looking for a fast-​food burger place that is similar to a diner, this is the place.

I’m thrilled they opened up a DQ in corona. Located on junction blvd right off the train, is a great to go to spot to kill your sweet tooth craving. The staff made up of most young teenagers are so friendly and helpful when I asked about the menu. So far I have tried the fried shrimp, wasn’t a fan, the burger (was good) and chicken tenders (my fav). To crave my sweet tooth I order the Banana split blizzard which is absolutely delicious. It tastes exactly like a banana split all mixed in and delicious.
Once your order is complete and they handed it to you, they must present it to you upside down just like the commercial or you get a free dessert the next time you come back. :)
The staff keeps the restaurant very clean and the bathrooms are always clean as well.

Happy to finally have a dairy Queen here in NYC the food is good reasonably priced the place is clean spacious nice staff with delicious choice of sweet treats and many good lunch choices as well. For people travelling with babies and young kids each bathroom comes with a changing table which is a great convenience for parents on the go

The lady behind the counter was kind enough to offer several specials and even gave us a paper menu to look over the options. They do offer the $ 5 lunch at this location.
Our food was brought out right away.
The fries were cold (both times) so I do think they need to make fresh ones more often. Also, it would have been nice to be given the option to get dessert after the meal (it was brought out with our food).
The snack wraps (new item) were tasty and the DQ Bakes, the fudge filled cookie, was really gooey and choclatey.
They ice cream cakes did look a little out-​dated as several of the containers had a severe case of frost bite (a lot of ice sitting on the cake or in the container).

First time ordering an ice cream cake from DQ in Jackson Heights and it was great. The design of the cake was great and the customer service was very good. Also walked out with some food… the Flamethrower Burger is Awesome!!! My daughter really liked the chicken strip basket, but the real star was the ice cream cake. Will be coming back soon and ordering more ice cream cakes.

A little dissapointed with the burger and chicken wrap doesn’t really fill you up and the chicken was a little cold. burger was plain with no taste, fries were good and the blizzard was amazing!

Another corporate requirement is that they hand me a # to hold despite standing for takeout. PS it’s a Grill & Chill location and the charge appears as VANI MANAGEMENT GROUP, I
Location gets a 5 for the service but corporate gets a 2 for the Blizzards.

Being this is THE only location in Qnz decided to get my monthly fix of strawberry milkshake. This place is nice and the staff is friendly. The shake was good, had strawberries in it. Bought a Berry-​Pomegranate smoothie for the bf and he said it was good. So we will visit again.

Awesome customers service! This place as a whole makes me feel like a happy 6 year old (I’m 30yrs old)!
So far I’ve tried the chicken fingers and burger boxes! Delicious roller coaster of delicious! I love their Sundaes!
I can’t wait to go back!

While the half pound grilled burger was pretty good, I felt the meal was a little smaller in portion then I would prefer. The burger was nice with two beefy patties, fresh lettuce tomatoes and pickles, and what seem like a really fresh bun.
However, my biggest turn off was the price. for a combo and the blizzard, my total was about 13 bucks. I guess maybe this does make sense because it’s a famous chain. But I would have rather use that for a more filling meal somewhere else.
The blizzard was nice too, big chunks of snickers, and overall very thick.
Probably won’t come back unless I’m craving a frozen dessert or a decent franchise burger.
Nonetheless, the service was very nice, and with the wait-​ish service, and the amount of time they took to make my meal, I do appreciate the overall effort.

Nice place. still new and looks like there still getting the operation smoothed out .the fat lady in the front doesnt help yelling at the employees in front of the customers… I dont wanna hear that…

We finally got a DQs in the hood! So my boyfriend & I were craving something sweet & we were also dying to try DQs so we went. Its like a 10 min walk from his house which is not bad at all! The place is pretty decent in size. They have really nice cashiers & they helped me figure out what to get since it was my first time. The place is really clean and the treats were so good! I got a blizzard and so did my boyfriend & I want moree! DQs is def my new fav ice cream spot. They also sell cakes for any occasion which makes me want to get my xmas holiday cake from there. Very happy with the experience. Quick & friendly service equals a happy customer :)
