Flushing CSA

This is our third year, the CSA’s fourth. I can’t imagine shopping in a supermarket on a regular basis. Yuk! My veggies may still have dirt clinging to the roots but no pesticides or GMO. Healthy, real and local. That is what I want. And get.

Flushing CSA is a great way to shop. The produce is fresh, delicious, and reasonable. It is very easy to pick up the shipment. The people at the CSA are very helpful and cordial.

This will be my second year with Flushing CSA and my 5^th with a Golden Earthworm CSA in general. I can’t recommend it enough!
Flushing CSA is an easy and affordable way to get local, organic, farm-​fresh veggies right in my ‘hood. A typical weekly share had 5 – 7 different types of produce, some regular dietary staples, some weird and delightful. But always top quality and fresh.
Having the veggies on hand forces me to eat better. I don’t have to think about what to buy or wonder if something is in season or imported, its all just there for me, fresh and at its peak ripeness. And I only need to stock up on pantry staples and some meat (which can be frozen) once in a while, freeing my time and budget from regular grocery shopping, which is great, especially in the summer when my social calendar is bursting!
