Flushing Savings Bank

My business had a commercial mortgage with Flushing Savings Bank. We had family owned real property that was stolen, and I believe Flushing had a hand in the theft of my property.
Almost 3 years ago, I approached Flushing Savings Bank for a loan modification, and I met VP Fred Wilhelm at this very location. Flushing Savings Bank subsequently engaged in dual tracking. We were sued for foreclosure, and my father, one of the owners of our property, was never served with the complaint.
At the same time, we were sued by a shell company claiming to have a right to «buy» our property at a fraction of its worth. This shell company immediately obtained a temporary restraining order prohibiting us from refinancing our property, effectively denying us our Right to Redemption which is protected by law.
A couple of weeks later, attorneys claiming to represent my family company signed our real property away to this shell company, in a way that my father and I wouldn’t get paid even one penny for the theft of our property.
Flushing failed to produce vital documentation needed to pursue a foreclosure action, such as the guaranty. That omission conveniently helped the thieves who stole my family owned real property.
Despite the shell company having no proof that they had the right to take my property and despite the fact that Flushing didn’t produce said documentation, the court sua sponte decided to award a money judgement for nearly DOUBLE the amount of money we allegedly owed prior to their foreclosure action, and gave my property away to the shell corporation. Flushing never even asked for a money judgment in their complaint!
This was against the law and the material facts, but that didn’t concern the (same) judge in both cases, who retired from the bench at a relatively young age within a week of closing our cases. In my opinion, Flushing Savings Bank is a dangerous bank to do business. I feel they were complicit in robbing my family. Even if the facts and laws are on your side as they were in my case, the judge will rule against you, even if Flushing lacks vital documentation as they did in my case.
I suspect judicial corruption was involved in my case, and I further suspect that Flushing engages in undue judicial influence. I think nobody stands a chance against Flushing unless you have at least hundreds of thousands of dollars to spend on a top tier law firm (I’m not even sure if that would help against judicial corruption) which I do not. I’m just a small family owned business that got robbed.
If you don’t want to end up like my family I think you should avoid Flushing Savings Bank.

The employees here are very nice, however every time I come here the service is extremely slow. Can someone please tell me why there is one teller on? The line is practically out the door and not one of his Co workers has offered to help him. They should either hire more people or have a meeting about customer service.

This review is partially based on my experience at the bank and two experiences of other customers I witnessed while there the other day. There is no greeter, so customers must jot their name on a list and wait, which is fine except I saw there for 15 minutes before a banker walked by and said someone will be with me, and another 15 minutes passes… The woman who helped my seemed nice enough, but my issue was with the bank manager. She seemed really rude and customer service was not a priority. In one sitting, I witnessed two customers storm out saying that they were closing their accounts. Glad that I dont bank here!
