My very close friends wake was recently held here and in general they did a good job. It’s a rather old place. The wife and mom were rather un-​graciously and dis-​tastefully interrupted during the wake to settle the bill. REALLY?!? Because it couldn’t have been taken care of after guests left so the wife and mom can look at their husband and son for the last minutes? On the 3^rd day when we came back to go through the flowers to choose which ones to bring to the cemetery and home. we came to find out that MOST were thrown out by the funeral home without the consent or ok of the family. Now after spending the obscene amount that they did, the least I would expect was some respect from the home to allow the grieving family to choose the flowers they wanted to bring to their recently deceased 39 year old son and husbands grave. Shameful.

Coming from NYC, it takes some time to get to. You can take the 7 train to Roosevelt then jump on a Q12 bus that leaves you in front but it is a ride so give yourself time if you are commuting. They did an ok job with the family I was here for and under the circumstances it wouldn’t be the place to be but they seemed to be organized and the facilities were well kept.
