I usually only write reviews when I hate the business (yea, I’m one of those guys), but I had to write a review for these guys.
I’ve been coming here for the past few years, and I’ve noticed that unlike many other shops around, they do not make a problem bigger than it is just to make the extra cash.
Edit: Actually, I just looked at my other reviews, and it’s half good/​half bad. So I guess I’m not as bad as I thought ;)

I got tired of the dealer with their high prices and services that I really didn’t need. I asked around for a good honest mechanic and I was referred to Donald of Legend. I live in Staten Island and I don’t mind traveling to Queens to get my car serviced there. I’ve been going to Donald for eight years and I don’t mind the commute. There’s one word that’s rarely used when it comes to auto mechanic shops and that is the word trust. I trust Donald and his mechanics. They do the job right and their prices are reasonable. If you want to go to a repair shop that will not rip you off, that will accurately diagnose the problems with your car with no unnecessary add ons and that has an owner that is a nice down to earth guy, then go to Legend. You won’t regret it and your car will thank you for going there.

ask for Donald. this is the place to go for any kind of body work done to the car and he’s an expert where insurance claims are involved. big things, little things, it’s definitely one of the better shops.

I’ve been coming to Legend for a few years now after being recommended by a friend and they always do a good job for me. Whether it’s inspections, brakes, belts or other routine maintenance, Donald and the guys get it done for a reasonable price. They’ve even done some body work and it looks pretty good. Very professional to deal with and the work is completed in good time. They even open on Saturdays, so if you drop off the car on Friday evening, it’ll be ready on Saturday morning.
